Video explaining how higher taxes affect families

ECM sent me this video that he found on Caffeinated Thoughts, and I am going to leave it up ALL DAY Saturday to make sure that you all watch it.

This is why I am annoyed to no end by fiscally liberal social conservatives who want government to solve all of these “crises” like enacting universal health care and preventing the global warming monster from killing us all. Stop it you miserable toadies! Especially you, stupid Mike Huckabee! You’re eating up all the money that single men need in order to have the confidence to start families.

I’m going to say it one more time. Good men are running the numbers on marriage right now. And we cannot take on the roles of husband and father when the jobs situation is a mess because of Obama, the taxes are too high because of Obama, and there is a looming entitlement crisis for our future children that Obama is making worse with his trillion dollar deficits. As if we didn’t have enough to worry about from punitive divorce courts, false DV charges, underperforming public schools, and weak deterrence of criminals and terrorists.

Think! If you want men to marry then vote for policies that allow men to marry. If you want big government, then you can’t have marriages and families and children. You can either have marriage and children, or you can have big government social programs. Choose.

Rhode Island police idle as gay activists disrupt marriage rally

Story here from the National Organization for Marriage.

Excerpt:

We had about 200-250 people show up for today’s rally outside the Rhode Island State House. A little while later, about 150 gay marriage protestors showed up in red shirts. Initially they came around the back of our rally and tried to shout over us.

Then they came right into our crowd (we had a permit for use of the area, as at all our rallies), getting in people’s faces and shouting at our marriage supporters. As Father Codega was trying to speak, they got up behind him on the steps, shouting him down. At one point when I was at the microphone, I was physically surrounded by three people trying to shout me down as Capitol Police did nothing.

These activists simply embarrassed themselves and their cause today. Mocking religion. Mocking children. I mean, what kind of adult goes up to a 7-year-old child and sneers, “Mommy raising you to be a good little bigot?”

The biggest disappointment was that the Capitol Police, although they tried to keep order, failed so badly in keeping the crowds apart. We had a permit protecting our First Amendment right to speak and assemble on the South Steps today, and the police simply failed to protect those rights.

Michele Bachmann files papers to create “Tea Party Caucus”

Meet your future President, America

Story from radical left-wing extremists at CNN.

Excerpt:

The 2010 midterms will offer Tea Party activists their first chance to elect their preferred candidates to national office. But once those candidates get to Washington, there might already be a “Tea Party Caucus” waiting to greet them.

That’s because a Tea Party favorite, GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann, has filed paperwork to start such a caucus in the House.

In a letter dated July 15 and sent to Rep. Robert Brady, the Democratic chairman of the House Administration Committee, Bachmann asked to register the group for the 111th Congress.

Bachmann writes: “I would like to register the House Tea Party Caucus as a Congressional Member Organization for the 111th Congress. The House Tea Party Caucus will serve as an informal group of Members dedicated to promote Americans’ call for fiscal responsibility, adherence to the Constitution and limited government.”

Here’s some video from Fox News – she’s looking very comfortable in this interview.

By the way, you can contribute to her 2010 election campaign here. And you should. If there’s anybody that social conservatives, fiscal conservatives and foreign policy conservatives can support, it’s Michele. She is perfect across the board. I wish she were our President right now, but we have to wait till 2012 to see what will happen.
