Excerpt:
THIS is an awkward question, but here goes: Why are Asian-Americans so successful in America?
It’s no secret that Asian-Americans are disproportionately stars in American schools, and even in American society as a whole. Census data show that Americans of Asian heritage earn more than other groups, including whites. Asian-Americans also have higher educational attainment than any other group.
[…]Does the success of Asian-Americans suggest that the age of discrimination is behind us?
A new scholarly book, “The Asian American Achievement Paradox,” by Jennifer Lee and Min Zhou, notes that Asian-American immigrants in recent decades have started with one advantage: They are highly educated, more so even than the average American. These immigrants are disproportionately doctors, research scientists and other highly educated professionals.
It’s not surprising that the children of Asian-American doctors would flourish in the United States. But Lee and Zhou note that kids of working-class Asian-Americans often also thrive, showing remarkable upward mobility.
Part of the problem is that non-Asian Americans take a passive view of life, believing that high grades come to those who are naturally smart – not to those who work harder:
There’s also evidence that Americans believe that A’s go to smart kids, while Asians are more likely to think that they go to hard workers… Asian-American kids are allowed no excuse for getting B’s — or even an A-. The joke is that an A- is an “Asian F.”
And, as the image I posted above shows, Asian girls are given boundaries on their sexuality, causing them to choose men who will be good husbands and fathers, and making those men marry before being given sex – factors proven to improve marital stability:
Strong two-parent families are a factor, too. Divorce rates are much lower for many Asian-American communities than for Americans as a whole, and there’s evidence that two-parent households are less likely to sink into poverty and also have better outcomes for boys in particular.
So, let’s be real – if white racial discrimination held non-white groups back, then Asians would be in the same situation as blacks and hispanics. But Asians are not being held back, because of their strong marriage culture and focus on hard work. Whites don’t hold anyone back. This is just a myth that Democrats use to make blacks (and hispanics) think that they need government to save them from the bogeyman. Asians don’t need saving, and neither should any other non-white groups.
We can start by shaming women of all races who choose to have sex with men who are not ready for marriage. There are lots of men out there who are willing to marry, and that should be what women are looking for most if all in a man. That change alone will probably erase most of the achievement gap between different racial groups. Does anyone have the courage to tell young women (of all races) to be more responsible with their sexual decisions? The out-of-wedlock birth rate for blacks is over 70%. This causes massive poverty and crime in the black community. Does anyone have the courage to tell blacks that they are doing this to themselves?
“Why are Asian-Americans so successful in America?”
Because Asians, by and large, have some of the highest IQs of the general world population. It sounds un-PC, but it’s the truth.

I think it’s the family structure! Married, two-parent homes.

That certainly helps too.

Perhaps the failures come from those persons being more influenced by media since media glorify moraless lifestyles.

Well, many Asian-Americans know several things:
– the best thing you can do is to stay together and raise kids as a team,
– the most reliable ticket to either rising to middle to upper-middle class or staying there and having good paying jobs is 1) education [I’ll break it down] and 2) especially STEM.
1) Education: many Asian-Americans value education (as you mentioned above, a B or B+ or A- is the “Asian F”), as well as higher education — college enrollment rates are now around 65%+ (reference: https://nces.ed.gov/programs/coe/pdf/coe_cpb.pdf )
Also, parents highly model, prioritize, and encourage education — starting from an early age.
I’ve seen comic strips — if the student got a substandard grade — the Asian-American parents assume it was the fault of the student, and they’ll get tutoring or they get the student to study harder and so on.
Many others either 1) don’t care about education, 2) treat school as glorified daycare, or 3) are really laissez-faire about homework or studies. (Or they assume the fault was with the teacher or with the test(s) or whatever.)
My kids sometimes say to me, “Dad, you don’t have to correct my homework / you’re not supposed to correct my homework.” I usually respond with, “I’m the customer, I pay for your schooling, and for many subjects, I’m far better than your teachers.”
My kids and I have had various talks. They’d better like school, because the government requires 12 years of mandatory schooling. If they want more advanced training to be an engineer, scientist, lawyer, doctor, pharmacist, etc., they’ll need to do higher education. Both my wife (18 years of total education, including a doctorate) and I (19 years of total education) did a ton of schooling, and we both were very good at Math and with STEM in general.
You get a virtuous cycle when parents are good in their education and they highly value education for their kids. It’s not the only way to be successful — but study skills are achievable if you put in effort, and good students have control over a lot in the academic realm, and education is a consistently good way to do well in life.
2) Disproportionate number of STEM students come from Asian backgrounds.
(People used to laugh a little about the International Mathematical Olympiad representatives — Asians most of the time — except a homeschooler named Luke Robataille in 2019 and Adam Ardeishar. Amusingly most of these kids end up at MIT.)
– very low rates of births out of wedlock, teen births, etc.
Here’s my source: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr68/nvsr68_13-508.pdf
Table 4:
Asian 0.6% teen births out of total births (1462/240798)
Caucasian or white 3.3% (65254/1956413)
Black 6.9% (38269/552029)
Table 9:
Asians 11.7% births by unmarried mother out of total
White 28.2%
Black 69.4% in 2018
I’ve seen these remarks:
“One way to get into unrecoverable poverty is to have a kid before you’re done with schooling, out of wedlock.”
or conversely, a friend put it: “The Republican message is: stay in school, do as much schooling as your abilities and interests would allow, then get married, then have kids.”
[FYI: Dr. Lee and I emailed a bit, back in 2014.]

One more factor: For thousands of years Asians have come from an honor/shame culture; they are steeped in it. They have been raised to believe that the family is more important than the individual. This makes their own wants and needs subservient to the reputation.
Which apparently makes for a good formula for success.
And flies in the face of modern-day liberalism’s me first, self- indulgent gospel.

The fanatical liberal democrats have duped Latinos & Black’s into voting for a worldview that they actually don’t believe in.
It’s an astonishing truth that has such cover from the liberal media that these people are essentially Sheep, deceived into hating Republicans, when it is conservative values that are really part of both of their cultures.
Latinos & Black’s are not atheists, “Green” fanatic tree huggers, pro-abortion, for rampant homosexuality,.. I mean the list goes on…
But when you understand that when a party is anti God & pro killing in the womb at any age etc – its easy to understand what lengths they would be willing to use to lie, Deceive & Falsely Accuse Republicans as being racists and even murderers.
How these groups can allow themselves to be so manipulated is on them though. They have willingly bought into devilish lies.
Even when particular African Americans, who see through the lies, speak out and try to explain the false accusations and deception, they are immediately attacked by democrats and their own people.
What can we do? I’m 56 years old and live in New York and can testify that No One sits around thinking about how much they hate African Americans or Latinos. Goodness gracious, it’s such a bunch of bullcrap, It’s something that never even crosses our minds. Yet day after day this constant barrage of “white people this” “white people that”… all perpetrated by the demonic lies of the democrats, with their full court press of fostering hatred, all to manipulate and deceive minorities into voting for a small group of fanatical liberals they have nothing in common with.
They are literally under a spell of deception and for the so called Christians among these groups that buy this nonsense – I pity them when Christ reveals the truth of the matter. That they wilfully remained ignorant in the face obvious lies and took the word of Unbelievers as the Gospel truth to feed the lust of self-righteousness
