None of them can see how letting a massive secular government control the economy would be bad for the public practice of authentic Christianity. We believed in freedom. The average citizen was an informed patriot who understood government, law and economics. Now, thanks to the public schools, we’ve lost that.

But at least some of us still remember.

When you take away the motivation of making money, you remove the incentive for people to risk their own capital to try to develop new cures and treatments.
