Where are all the good women? New poll finds men vastly more pro-life than women

I’ve been blogging about the emerging ideological split between young women and young men. Young women, under the influence of feminism, have taken a hard left turn. They are now extremely likely to support abortion, gay rights, and other non-Christian views. Young men, now being influenced by the red pill and the manosphere, have becoming increasingly conservative.

First, let’s review what the surveys say about the political views of young men and women.

The far-left UK Independent explains:

An analysis of survey data from across the developing world had found that “a new global gender divide” is emerging. The analysis, conducted by the Financial Times’ John Burn-Murdoch, showed that the developed world’s young women have rapidly become more liberal. Young men, however, have either become more conservative (as in the US) or been much slower to become more progressive (as in the UK). Gen Z, Burn-Murdoch concluded, is “two generations, not one.”

Who is influencing these young men? Well, it’s not Christian feminists, who talk about “servant leadership” and twist the Bible to attack masculinity and eliminate male headship. Christian feminists think that men are supposed to be silent ATMs that dispense cash without judgement, and show off their muscles. “Protect and provide” they demand. But they never want men to fight against lies or make moral judgments – that’s “mean”.

Who are young men listening to that’s causing them to become so conservative? Men are listening to leaders in the manosphere – the online community of people who are concerned about men’s rights. And what are they hearing there? They are hearing that feminism is terrible for men. They are learning that that women on dating apps are chasing the top 20% of most attractive men. They are learning that women initiate most (69%) divorces, and that family courts are extremely unfair to men. They are learning that the more men that a woman has sex with before marriage, the greater the risk that she will initiate divorce. And they are learning that lesbians have the highest rates of marital instability AND domestic violence. Men are learning to be more careful with women.

And do you know what else young men are learning in the manosphere? Pro-life convictions.

Here are the numbers from National Right to Life:

Lydia Saad handles much of Gallup’s coverage of the abortion issue and does so in a comprehensive way. This morning, she authored “Gender Gaps on Abortion Reach Historic Highs” which is well worth reading.

You would expect self-identified Democrats to support abortion—and the current survey bares that out. Likewise, you would anticipate Republicans to be more supportive of unborn children—also borne out by Gallup’s latest poll.

Currently, as of May 2025,

* 32% of women and 54% of men identify as pro-life. 61% of women and 41% of men consider themselves pro-choice. The difference—the gap—was 13-points in 2022 “and no more than 10-point differences in any reading before Dobbs,” according to Saad. “The gap has expanded since 2022 because pro-choice identity has dipped among men, from 48% to 41%, while it has held steady among women.”

In 2022, in the aftermath of the leak of the draft showing that Dobbs would overturn Roe, the “pro-choice” was ahead of the pro-life by 16 points, but by this year the margin had been halved–down to 8 points.

Basically, young men are learning that abortion empowers young women to choose recreational sex with the hot bad boys that they find so desirable. Abortion provides feminists (and the hot bad boys) with a way to get out of the consequences of recreational sex. It enables feminists to delay “boring” marriage to the “unattractive” good man for as long as possible, and that’s what feminists want.

The manosphere’s reach extends all over the world. So, other countries are seeing this male pro-life trend.

Here is an article about young men in the UK, from the far-left UK Independent:

Fewer than half of young men believe abortion should be legal, far less than the general population, a shocking new poll has found.

Just 46 per cent of 16- to 34-year-old males believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases, compared with 71 per cent among the general population.

And it’s not just abortion that the manosphere teaches young men to oppose. It’s no-fault divorce. Feminists, including Christian feminists, LOVE no-fault divorce. It allows reckless feminists to choose a husband based on appearance, and then pretend to be surprised when the hot bad boy they chose turns out to be… a hot bad boy. Rather than having to take responsibility for their reckless choice, they can get out of it easily – and with cash and prizes. Young men understand that like abortion, no-fault divorce is a tool that feminists use in order to avoid “boring” marriage to an “unattractive” good man. Young men oppose frivolous divorce. They even have a funny phrase for it in the manosphere.

By the way, if you think that the manosphere is “Andrew Tate” or “Myron Gaines”, that’s just uninformed. Those are pick-up artists, which is only one segment of the manosphere. It’s not those pick-up artists that are causing this massive swing back to conservatism. Pick-up artists are the bogeymen that the traditional “Get Married!” people try to scare you with, to get you to not care about the effects of feminism, e.g. – abortion and no-fault divorce.

If you want to listen to mainstream conservatives who take men’s issues seriously, you can start with people like Matt Walsh and Steven Crowder. Ironically, some women actually do very well in the manosphere. Two of the more popular women influencers are Emily King and Courtney Ryan. I don’t always agree with those people, but they certainly are more respectful of young men’s conservative beliefs than Christian feminists.

So, now that men are being influenced by manosphere voices, instead of feminist voices, where will these good men find good women to marry? I don’t think that church is producing anti-feminist women these days. Churches are still stuck in feminism, blaming good man bystanders for every poor choice that reckless women make with hot bad boys.

The hidden message of these impressive pro-life numbers among men is that traditional men will not be pursuing non-traditional women. Young men are becoming more conservative, and young women are becoming more leftist. Just because young women expect to claim a husband “when they are ready”, that doesn’t mean that the marriage-minded man they expect to comply will be there. Nothing against women in general. Just saying that non-traditional women will not be able to get traditional men to commit.

Tennessee’s SCOTUS win halts harmful transgender procedures for kids

I’ve blogged before about Tennessee’s badass Attorney General, Jonathan Skrmetti. He defends the laws of the state of Tennessee from radical leftists. Tennessee’s SB1 stopped doctors from giving kids puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries. The ACLU sued, but SCOTUS crushed them in United States v. Skrmetti. This post is a great tool to show the difference between the two parties, so please share.

First, let’s see what was going on in Tennessee:

The governor of Tennessee is calling for an investigation into Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Pediatric Transgender Clinic following viral tweets exposing alarming attitudes toward transgender surgeries and procedures for children.

Daily Wire host Matt Walsh shared Tuesday afternoon that his team has been investigating the transgender clinic, claiming that “Vanderbilt drugs, chemically castrates, and performs double mastectomies on minors.”

In one video posted by Walsh, which has since gone viral, Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Clinic for Transgender Health physician Dr. Shayne Taylor describes how she persuaded the hospital to “get into the gender-transition game,” as Walsh said. The doctor emphasizes that gender transition is a “big moneymaker.”

“The female-to-male bottom surgeries, these are huge moneymakers,” Taylor says in the video.

“They make money,” she adds of the transgender surgeries. “They make money for the hospital.”

So, the people in Tennessee are pretty conservative, and they are careful about who they elect. After all, Tennessee is home to big social conservative leaders like Matt Walsh and Robby Starbuck. So, voters in Tennessee elect real conservatives. In this case, House Majority Leader William Lamberth and Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson authored a piece of legislation designed to stop health care providers from giving transgender drugs and surgeries to kids. That bill was called SB-1 and it took effect in September 2023.

Unfortunately, the American Civil Liberties Union, a far-left organization, sued the state of Tennessee, believing that they knew better than the voters of Tennessee. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court, and on Wednesday, we got the decision.

The Federalist explains:

In a 6-3 ruling, SCOTUS deemed a Tennessee law prohibiting the surgical and chemical castration of minors does not violate the 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause.

All 6 Republican appointees voted in favor of Tennessee, and all 3 Democrat appointees voted against Tennessee.

My favorite Justice is Clarence Thomas. If you ask any Republican voter what they would think about 9 clones of Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court, they would kiss you on both cheeks and say “from your lips to God’s ears”.

Thomas had a separate concurrence, aimed specifically at the “healthcare experts” who like to push their leftist views onto the public under the cloak of science.

The article quote Thomas’ concurring statement:

“First, so-called experts have no license to countermand the ‘wisdom, fairness, or logic of legislative choices.’ … Second, contrary to the representations of the United States and the private plaintiffs, there is no medical consensus on how best to treat gender dysphoria in children,” Thomas wrote. “Third, notwithstanding the alleged experts’ view that young children can provide informed consent to irreversible sex-transition treatments, whether such consent is possible is a question of medical ethics that States must decide for themselves. Fourth, there are particularly good reasons to question the expert class here, as recent revelations suggest that leading voices in this area have relied on questionable evidence, and have allowed ideology to influence their medical guidance.”

“Taken together,” the senior justice wrote, “this case serves as a useful reminder that the American people and their representatives are entitled to disagree with those who hold themselves out as experts, and that courts may not ‘sit as a super-legislature to weigh the wisdom of legislation.’”

[…]“Thus, whether ‘major medical organizations’ agree with the result of Tennessee’s democratic process is irrelevant.”

Even moderate Justice John Roberts decided not to side with the leftists this time.

Daily Signal reports:

In fact, Roberts pointed out, several European countries that jumped on the “gender-affirming” care bandwagon have reversed course, “rais[ing] significant concerns regarding the potential harms associated with using puberty blockers and hormones to treat transgender minors.”

So, given all this, I want to make a point about a friend of mine who is a church-attending Christian, but no interested in politics. Let’s call him “Libby”, because he is a libertarian.

Libby loves to share memes on his meme page. He likes to read fiction. He watches TV comedies. He knows all the latest movies. Whenever the topic of politics comes up, Libby is sure that it’s pointless to discuss politics because “both political parties are the same”. He also thinks “it doesn’t matter what state you live in, they’re all the same”. He also thinks that all countries are the same “Canada is just like the United States except colder”.

Whenever I send Libby articles to convince him about something related to politics or policy, he always replies with “too many words”.

Then he sends me a meme of Duke Nukem:

Then he reacts to my post with the yawn reaction, the Zzzzz reaction, and the bed reaction:

Personally, I think this is a more appropriate Duke Nukem meme for Libby:

So today, Libby is out there sharing memes about Batman and Disney, but he didn’t mention anything about the big win for conservatives at SCOTUS. So I asked him, is this SCOTUS decision a good thing? And surprisingly, Libby agreed that not transing the kids WAS a good thing. So I asked him, are you going to share this good news with anyone? And he replied, no he wasn’t. You see, Libby shares memes, and he doesn’t want to lose any of his fans by sharing anything that would rock the boat.

So, don’t be a Libby. The 2026 election cycle has already started. Now is the time to be sharing stories that show what Republicans do when they have power. The transgender issue is a winning issue with independents. It doesn’t help us win elections to ignore all the good news on these issues while it’s happening. Now is the time to convince independent voters that Republicans are VERY different than Democrats, and VERY different than Democrats for Christians in particular. Show people that you know why you vote for the Republican party. It’s not just how you were raised. And it’s not just your favorite football team. You have policy reasons.

So, share this blog post, or share the articles that I linked. Don’t be a Libby. Now is the time to explain to people why they should vote Republican.

Frank Turek lectures on the case against same-sex marriage

About the speaker Frank Turek:

His radio program and podcast called I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist with Frank Turek airs on 182 stations every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. eastern and is available continuously on the free CrossExamined App.

Frank Turek is one of my favorite speakers, and I admire him for being willing to take a public stand on controversial issues like gay marriage. He’s actually had to pay a price for that in his professional life, and I blogged about that before.

Here’s the lecture on gay marriage, featuring Christian apologist Frank Turek.

Outline:

Outline of Frank Turek's lecture on same sex marriage
Outline of Frank Turek’s lecture on same sex marriage

Introduction:

  • how to present your case against marriage safely
  • Christians are required to go beyond tolerance
  • loving another person can mean opposing the person when they want to do something wrong, even if they hate you
  • what did Jesus say about marriage? (see Matt 19:4-6)
  • what did Jesus say about sexual morality? (Matt 15, Matt 19)

Summary:

  • the same-sex marriage debate is about whether to compel people who disagree with the gay lifestyle to validate and normalize it
  • P1: the government has an interest in marriage because it perpetuates and stabilizes society – this is the purpose of marriage
  • P2-4: government can take 3 kinds of stances towards behaviors: promote, permit or prohibit
  • government promotes behaviors when it has an interest in them
  • same-sex relationships should be permitted, but not promoted
  • Q1: if same-sex marriage had serious negative consequences, would you reconsider their position?
  • Q2: are heterosexual relationships the same as homosexual relationships?
  • Q3: what would society be like if everyone married according to the natural marriage definition: one woman, one man, for life?
  • Q4: what would society be like if everyone married according to the same-sex marriage definition: man/man and woman/woman?
  • Should Christians care about law and politics? or should they just preach the gospel?
  • They should care because people often get their cues about what is moral and immoral based on what is legal and illegal
  • Many of the social problems we see today can be traced back to problems with marriage and family
  • Children do much better when they have a relationship with their mother and their father
  • Same-sex marriage necessarily destroys the relationship between a child and its mother or its father
  • When a country embraces same-sex marriage, it reinforces the idea that marriage is not about making and raising children
  • same-sex marriage shifts the focus away from the needs of the children to the feelings of desires of the selfish adults
  • does homosexuality impose any health and mental health risks?
  • what has the impact of legalizing same-sex marriage been in Massachusetts to individuals, schools, businesses and charities?
  • how same-sex marriage poses a threat to religious liberty
  • how should you respond to the view that homosexuality is genetic?

And at the very end, he shows this short video, which is only 5 minutes and explains the logic of opposing the redefinition of marriage:

My biggest concern is religious liberty, and we are seeing how same-sex marriage has proven to be incompatible with religious liberty. But I also care about children… I want them to have mothers and fathers who put their needs first. Marriage is about a commitment – it is the subjugation of feelings and desires to responsibilities and obligations. It is a promise. A promise to commit to love your spouse and children regardless of feelings and desires. It requires more self-denial, self-control and self-sacrifice. Not less.
