My libertarian friend says intelligence agencies will stop DeSantis from winning

I have a friend who is a libertarian. He has a very negative view of intelligence agencies today, e.g. the FBI, the CIA, and the NSA. He thinks they’re all spying on us all the time. He thinks they use their power to get Democrats, so their budgets, power and salaries will increase. And he thinks that after DeSantis’ Tuesday night town hall, that these agencies are going to stop him from being president.

Before we get started, please be aware that there is a Republican primary debate on CNN tonight at 9 PM Eastern. If you don’t have CNN like me, you can watch it free and live right here.

So, let’s take a look at what DeSantis said, starting with the clip that my friend thinks will get him “stopped” by the FBI, the CIA, and the NSA. This is real Barry Goldwater level stuff.

This is a really good clip. We don’t see politicians talking like this much any more. It’s really something else. I have been very disturbed by Obama weaponizing the IRS. Democrat-ordered pre-dawn raids on pro-life homes. Democrats designating concerned parents as “domestic terrorists”, and turning a blind eye to violence coming from BLM and Antifa. We really do need someone who will hold government employees accountable for using their power to elect big-government Democrats.

Anyway, I have another wonderful friend who reads the blog, and follows me on Twitter. And he has the view that Trump has to be the nominee because he is the only one who will stop the weaponization of government by the Democrat party. But when I watch that clip, DeSantis really does not sound anything like Trump. He sounds like he’s going to solve the problem in a way that Trump never did in 4 years of being president.

Remember, Trump had 4 years as president, 2 of those with a Republican House and Senate. He could have drained the swamp. But like so many of his other promises, he never did. And now, in 2023, he is going around explaining that he couldn’t do what he promised, because the left would get angry with him. Trump nominated Christopher Wray, who led the FBI. And Trump wants to build the FBI an enormous new state-of-the-art headquarters.

Trump is currently facing 91 indictments across several states, and many of those cases will be decided by judges and juries hostile to the Republican party. Even if he somehow manages to beat all these charges, and I don’t see how he could, the charges and accusations will still be used against him during the election. Polls show that if Trump gets convicted, he will lose over 10% of his support. Why would Republican voters take that chance, when we can run a candidate who doesn’t have personality disorders and criminal charge baggage?

Trump just isn’t the same guy that he was in 2016. This new ad from the DeSantis campaign is really good. It contrasts Trump’s bold, brash, confident talk from 2016, with his excuses and evasions in 2023:

He promised a lot, but he didn’t deliver. And we don’t have to choose him. He’s not the best candidate for conservatives. He’s not the best candidate for Christians. We will get more of what WE want if we choose DeSantis to be the Republican nominee, instead.

Anyway, some nice long clips from the Tuesday night town hall on Fox News.

Atheist woman who had sex with 300 men in one year expects to marry “some day”

Cultural leaders decided a while back to teach young women that they should not conform to traditional roles of wife and mother. Traditional female roles are terrible, the leaders said, because being a wife and mother makes a woman unhappy. What women need to do instead to be happy is that they need to act like hot alpha male bad boys. They need to reject religion. They need to reject morality. They need to take out student loans to do worthless degrees in women’s studies. They need to get public sector jobs that aren’t challenging. They need to delay marriage for as long as possible, so they can get as much promiscuous sex with hot no-commitment bad boys as they can. And when they are ready to marry and have children (at age 38), then they should feel entitled to a man who has all the best characteristics of all the hot bad boys they slept with over the years. He will perform the traditional male roles: protect and provide. (But obviously not moral leader and spiritual leader) And of course, after a fairy tale wedding, these women will work outside the home, and the children can just go to daycare and public schools.

Now, obviously there are lots of women who are raised in good homes who reject all this nonsense. They follow traditional paths, and they expect to marry a traditional man, and homeschool their traditional kids. If they go to college or trade school, they learn STEM fields. If they get jobs, it’s in the private sector. If they have boyfriends, they don’t sleep with them before marriage. If they get married, it’s for life. If they have kids, they stay home with them. If those kids go to school, it’s homeschool. Those are traditional women. Traditional men get a lot of value out of marrying a traditional women.

But what happens to the feminist women? Are they bringing anything to the table that might attract a traditional man?

Take a look at this story from the New York Post:

An Australian woman who says she had sex with more than 300 people in one year found the experience “empowering.”

Annie Knight, 26, told “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” that she even managed to bed five people in a single day during the frisky, fun-filled year.

“I felt empowered afterward,” the amorous Aussie declared. “Sex makes me feel good. It’s meant to make you feel good.”

Knight sleeps with men and women and told the radio program that she met many of her sex partners on dating apps. However, she also has a roster of “regulars” on speed dial that she calls up whenever she feels like getting down and dirty.

“The messier the sex, the better,” she enthused.

Knight… added that nothing is off limits when it comes to experimenting in the bedroom, saying: “I’m down to try anything.”

Knight, who has an OnlyFans account… told “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” that there’s no shortage of kinky content on her page as she does “pretty much everything” on camera.

She’s making money on OnlyFans, because men who ought to choose better women are foolishly giving her money:

[S]he now earns around $1,000 a day with her risque content, which fans pay a monthly subscription to view.

I saw a clip of her being interviewed on the Joe Khamou show.

Here’s the last few minutes of the interview:

I was curious to hear that her religious upbringing was Catholic. She was baptized. She went to an all-girls school. And she is an atheist now. She also explained what she sees in the future, as far as relationships, marriage and children. She says she wants to settle down when she finds the right guy, and she’s “just doing this for fun” until she “finds the right person”. She expects a traditional man to commit to her, but she is anything but a traditional woman. She is a completely untraditional woman. So, she has everything to gain from this traditional man, but nothing to offer this traditional man.

Her actions have formed habits and a character that will make it impossible for her to perform traditional roles well, and impossible to be content with performing them. She has not read anything about how to do it. She has not submitted to wise leadership from adults who were good at it. She has no rational basis behaving morally when it goes against her self-interest. And she has no practice at doing anything that a traditional man would find useful for a long-term marriage and parenting enterprise.

Good men don’t marry women who do this. A good man wants to marry a woman who commits to him early on, and supports him during his difficult early years. The more a woman invests in a good man, the more he loves her. The more difficulties they go through together, the tighter the bond. The earlier they start building, the stronger the castle. Women who have not experienced the truth of this are the ones like Annie, who keep going for entertainment and excitement with the hot bad boys. They choose bad men, they complain about them, and then they imagine that there are no good men. Because they don’t choose good men.

Men understand that women who have intimacy with many different men train themselves to decouple intimacy from relationship. Such women learn to see sex as something self-centered, rather than related to a relationship’s purpose and goal. They don’t see it as a way of affirming the unity of two people who have committed to loving each other exclusively and for life. Married sex is designed to express unity of purpose and mutual support. In the long-term, women like Annie find it unbearable to participate in marital sex. They only ever wanted sex for themselves, with hot bad boys. They are completely unequipped for sex during a long-term commitment, where sex is about unity and support. Promiscuous women imprint themselves with the physical appearances of hot bad boys who didn’t commit to them, so that they no longer find the husband they “settled” for sexually attractive. And that’s why studies show that marriages with promiscuous partners are far more unstable.

Traditional men have learned to avoid the marital instability that comes from promiscuity. They understand that when marriages end, the woman typically gets the house, car, savings, full custody of the kids, alimony and child support. So, they are determined not to be the sucker that women like Annie Knight “settle” for.

Please help me to educate young feminists. Explain to them that getting social media attention and hook-up sex in the short term does not guarantee them a traditional man in the long term. Traditional men don’t find feminists attractive.

All he does is win: DeSantis cuts health care costs by importing Canadian drugs

There are two kinds of voters in the United States right now. First, there’s the kind that is voting for Ron DeSantis in the GOP primary. Second, there’s the kind who doesn’t know what Ron DeSantis has accomplished in Florida. He has achievements in every single area that conservatives care about, even foreign policy! Let’s see the latest demonstrated achievement from Ron DeSantis.

This report is from the CBS News:

For the first time, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized a Florida program to import certain prescription drugs in bulk from Canada, where drug prices are much cheaper, to significantly cut costs for American consumers.

Floria’s proposal specifies a number of drug classes, including medications for asthma; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD; diabetes; HIV and AIDS; and mental illness. The medications would be only for certain people, including foster children, prison inmates, certain elderly patients and, eventually, Medicaid recipients.

Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the plan into law in 2019, but it required federal review and approval by the FDA, which controls prescription drug imports.

[…]DeSantis celebrated the FDA’s move Friday, saying that the program will save the save up to $180 million in its first year alone by bringing lower cost drugs to Floridians.

“After years of federal bureaucrats dragging their feet, Florida will now be able to import low-cost, life-saving prescription drugs,” DeSantis said. “It’s about time that the FDA put patients over politics and the interests of Floridians over Big Pharma.”

[…]Florida has estimated that the program could save it up to $150 million annually. The FDA authorized the state’s importation program for two years once the agency is notified of the first shipment of drugs ordered from Canada. State officials must first test the drugs to make sure they’re authentic and relabel them so that they comply with U.S. standards.

I just want to stress this. If you are the kind of conservative who cares about results, then the best candidate in the 2024 election is Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis also promised to end the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Here’s the latest about that.

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis joined the Dana Show with Dana Loesch Thursday afternoon where he vowed to abolish the ATF should Congress pass the appropriate legislation.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms was established in 1886 and is responsible for the enforcement of specific guns and tax laws.

DeSantis also commented on a recent school shooting in Iowa and the current crop of ‘Red Flag’ laws across the United States.

“They try and use these things as leverage to advance a political agenda,” explained DeSantis.

Eliminating the ATF is in addition to his promise to eliminate the Departments of Education, Commerce, Energy, and the IRS. Would you like to see that happen? If you do, vote for DeSantis. Trump had 4 years to do this, 2 with a Republican House and Senate, and he did not get it done. In the same clip, DeSantis opposes Red Flag laws, and he refuses to build a new headquarters for the FBI. He wants to move as many agencies as possible out of Washington, D.C. as well!

What about Trump? Trump allied with Anthony Fauci to lock America down, and with Christopher Wray, to corrupt the FBI. Trump promised to build the wall, he didn’t. Trump promised to end birthright citizenship, he didn’t. Trump promised to drain the swamp, he didn’t. Trump  did nothing at all during the BLM and Antifa rioting. Trump is now criticizing pro-life laws at the state level. Trump wants to build the FBI a brand new, state-of-the-art Kremlin-sized headquarters near Washington.

America can do better than Trump in 2024.
