She dodged every single question, and accepted zero accountability for the policies of the Biden-Harris regime, during the past 3.5 years . She denied the existence of every problem facing American voters. America is in for disaster if this unqualified person is elected president.

Fox News host Bret Baier stopped Harris during an interview Wednesday evening as she struggled to explain how her presidency would move the country “forward” despite her already being in a position of power.

The interview marks Harris’ first appearance on the network during her campaign, following a busy week of media appearances on networks like CBS and ABC. On “Special Report with Bret Baier,” the host pressed Harris on her campaign slogan “A New Way Forward” and her claim that “it’s time to turn the page,” to which she initially responded by explaining she was moving on from the “last decade” of former President Donald Trump’s “rhetoric.”

“More than 70% of people tell the country is on the wrong track. They say the country is on the wrong track. If it’s on the wrong track, that track follows three and a half years of you being vice president and President Biden being president. That is what they’re saying, 79% of them. Why are they saying that? If you are turning the page, you’ve been in office for three and a half years,” Baier said.

“And Donald Trump has been running for office since — ” Harris began.

Baier pushed back and pointed out to the vice president how she’s been “the person holding the office,” with Harris then claiming that the host understood what she was talking about.

“C’mon, you and I both know what I’m talking about. You and I both know what I’m talking about,” Harris said.

“I actually don’t. What are you talking about?” Baier asked.

Since 2021, the Biden-Harris administration reversed or undid many of the Trump-era border policies; they suspended the Remain in Mexico policy on the administration’s first day in office, for example.

She caused this mess, and now she won’t apologize for it, or accept responsibility for it. This is not someone that should be elected to the White House. She won’t solve problems. We have no evidence that she knows how to define and resolve problems.

On this blog, and on podcasts, I’ve tried to point out the problems with the policies that Kamala Harris supports. But this interview really showed me the problem with the person. Kamala is not going to be able to solve any problems, because she won’t admit that there are any problems. When she is told that she’s been in charge for the last 3.5 years, she shifts the blame to other people who are not in charge. When she is asked for specific solutions to the problems caused by the Biden-Harris regime, she says that she has no policy differences with Joe Biden.

I almost wonder if she said this because she doesn’t know what a policy is. When I watch this interview, I could really believe that Kamala Harris has no education or work experience of any kind. If this were a candidate for a job that I was interviewing for, I would say “this person cannot do any useful work, she just tries to paint a picture of herself with words”. This might be OK for an actor or entertainer, but not for someone who will be setting policies for the next 4 years.

A very, very interesting article about the Biden-Harris regime came out on Monday in the Daily Caller. I think it’s really important for Christians to take a look at this article, and understand that voting in elections is not just voting for someone you like – someone who agrees with you. It’s really often about voting against policies that could really hurt you. And hurt your children.

While crafting its foster care rule finalized in April, HHS officials took inspiration from social workers in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, who spent years pioneering a program that strong-arms parents into affirming whatever confused beliefs children express about their gender. Parents who decline risk losing a voice in their child’s life.

The program developed in Cuyahoga County using federal grant funds provided the HHS’ Administration for Children and Families (ACF) with an ideal model for infusing gender ideology into foster care and social services, the Daily Caller News Foundation discovered in reviewing hundreds of documents and emails obtained via public record requests.

Note that this is a federal rule – it will apply in all 50 states. So living in a red state will not protect you from having your children taken from you:

The Biden-Harris administration’s new federal rule directs states to ensure foster children who identify as LGBTQ are placed in affirming homes. These “designated placements” must commit to creating an environment that supports a child’s “status or identity,” including through access to age-appropriate “resources, services, and activities.” To gender activists consulted by the Biden administration, being “affirming” means assuming the child knows best about his or her identity — even if what he or she claims to want is life-altering medical procedures like hormone blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries to appear more like the opposite sex.

To Cuyahoga County child protective services, being affirming often means providing kids access to items like chest binders or prosthetic packers that mimic a penis, according to an information sheet for caregivers on the Cuyahoga County Division of Children & Family Services (DCFS) website.

So, parents are “good enough” to pay for transing their kids, but not good enough to parent their kids. The parenting of the kids should be done by secular leftists in government, who are also paid by the parents, through their taxes. So that’s all that parents are good for – to pay people to parent their kids, because they don’t know what’s best for their kids.

And parents are already facing the effects of these policies:

When the rule was announced in September 2023, it quickly faced resistance. A coalition of 19 Republican states slammed the proposed rule, arguing it would infringe on religious liberty and free speech protections. Religious groups warned it would restrict faith-based providers.

Those concerns were well-founded: In states like Washington and Vermont, Christian couples have lost their foster care licenses due to similar state regulations. But as the activists consulted in the development of the federal rule show, these objections only scratch the surface of problems with the rule.

Parents in a handful of states have already sounded the alarm, claiming local authorities deemed them unfit guardians for refusing to allow their children to undergo a gender transition. In light of federally funded programs, like the one operating in Cuyahoga County, stories like these sound more like harbingers of an organized effort to undermine the family than one-off incidents.

The article talks about how non-parent adults will determine whether the child is transgender – by asking them questions about their feelings. The child will determine whether they are transgender or not.

This part was interesting – your Christian faith will have to go:

The program is designed to help parents and caregivers of children already in the welfare system, or “at risk” of entering, become affirming, according to the AFFIRM.ME guide. The program also pushes families to “reconcile” their values, including their faith, to accept their child’s identity.

Not that this program is already in effect in certain states, and if Harris-Walz wins, there is no reason to think this will not become the law in all 50 states:

YAP is currently being implemented in California, New York, Pennsylvania and Missouri, along with Ohio, according to the SOGIE Center. Of the 34 Cuyahoga County families who started the program between 2018 and 2021, seven cases were successfully “closed” when parents stopped opposing their child’s gender-bending desires, according to SOGIE Center data.

Christianity and conservatism are obstacles for the government to neutralize:

“I mean, they don’t say anything to my face anymore about it and they stopped being super religious around me because they used to,” said one young person who was part of the program in Spring 2021, according to the data sheet. “I don’t know what was their problem, but they used to try to push a lot of weird religion stuff on me.”

Another adolescent reported having a “very conservative” family approve of transitioning after going through YAP. “So I could start testosterone and things of that sort soon,” the youth said. “And [mom is] helping me with the name change.”

What was interesting about this article is how all the people who are trying to push transgenderism onto children were progressive women! And they were working in the Biden-Harris administration, with the goal of turning children against their parents.

Christians sitting out the 2024 elections

I’ve been reading a lot of comments on Twitter from pietistic Christians who are talking about not voting in this election, because they don’t like either of the candidates. And it’s really causing me some concern. They think they are saying something pious and intelligent when they talk about not voting because neither candidate reflects their values. They don’t seem to grasp that one of the candidates will trample on their basic human rights, such as the right to free speech, religious liberty and parental authority.

I’ve talked to many of these pietistic people whose children left the faith. I ask them “did you study apologetics so you could answer their questions?” And I get these rationalizations about why learning apologetics would be a waste of time, like “Children are more liberal these days than we were” and “they’ll come back to the church when they have children” and so on. Maybe you are tempted to take these rationalizations at face value. But I see it more clearly now – the pious language is just being used to excuse them from having to do anything that doesn’t make them happy. And in the same way, this Pollyannish whistling-past-the-graveyard isn’t really anything they know. It’s just their desire to virtue signal, while still leaving their pursuit of comfort and ease unchallenged.

I have no doubt that when their rights are trampled by the secular left, they will find some pious way to shift blame and excuse themselves. They will be satisfied with their virtue signaling. The question though is what will God think about it? I don’t think he will like it at all.

Kamala Harris has received over $200 million of donations, some from Democrat billionaires, and many more from first time donors. It’s not going to be easy for Republicans to beat her in November with her huge advantage in fundraising. But, one thing we can do right now is to take a look at her record on issues, and then share these stories with our friends and family members.

The “Biden Accountability Tracker” presents a list of “disturbing and harmful actions,” including “each significant policy decision made, executive action taken, or regulation promulgated by the administration that hurts the American people,” the organization’s letter to lawmakers explains.

“Our organization has kept a rolling record of the failures of the Biden-Harris administration since 2021, from reversing Trump-Pence border policies, to pushing an expensive and burdensome climate agenda, failing to protect women’s sports, and using the FDA to make the dangerous abortion drug mifepristone available by mail,” Teller told The Daily Signal. “Kamala Harris owns each and every one of these failings, along with her own record from her time as California attorney general and as a senator.”

“It is clear her policies are left of Biden and that she has it out for conservatives and the freedom-loving community,” Teller added.

Teller’s reference to Harris’ having it out for conservatives touched on the vice president’s record from her time as California attorney general. For example, Harris directed her office to search the home of pro-life investigative journalist David Daleiden, who had exposed Planned Parenthood officials’ selling aborted baby body parts for profit. She prepared a legal case against Daleiden, which her successor as California attorney general—now Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra—brought against the pro-life journalist.

Harris also demanded sensitive donor information from two conservative organizations, Americans for Prosperity and the American Freedom Law Center, after her office had leaked sensitive donor information and after some on the Left had launched a video game in which players acted out a shooting at Americans for Prosperity headquarters.

If you look through that issue tracker, you’re bound to find something to convince an independent voter not to vote for Harris. Stuff like climate regulation (which caused our energy prices to skyrocket) and open borders (which caused housing prices to increase due to a shortage of housing) should be of interest to anyone.

A newly resurfaced memo put out by Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign outlines her plan to “fundamentally transform” the criminal justice system by reducing penalties for criminals.

In 2019, Harris promised to end cash bail, get rid of court-ordered fines, expunge the records of some felons, discontinue federal mandatory minimum sentences, and to place greater federal scrutiny on local police departments, according to a memo resurfaced Thursday by the Washington Free Beacon.

[…]“It is long past time to re-envision public safety by strengthening and supporting our communities and drastically limiting the number of people we expose to our criminal justice system,” the memo reads. “As president, Kamala will fundamentally transform how we approach public safety.”

And ending cash bail, which has already been tried in many Democrat cities:

“Excessive cash bail disproportionately harms people from low-income communities and communities of color,” Harris’ 2019 memo reads. She characterized cash bail systems as “criminalizing poverty” and vowed to end them.

Ending cash bail has led to a backlash in some major cities, with New Yorkers in February 2022 overwhelmingly supporting tightening bail laws following an increase in crime, the New York Post reported. The Texas Organizing Project, a George Soros-backed nonprofit that opposes cash bail, bonded out a man who allegedly went on to murder six people and shoot three others in December 2023.

I remember that she’s a big supporter of “defunding the police” as well, but that’s not all:

She also supported restoring voting rights to all those who have served criminal records, per the memo, and advocated for more federal oversight of local police departments, citing alleged “racial profiling” and “excessive force.”

The now-vice president proposed a “National Police Systems Review Board” that “would collect data and review police shootings and other cases of severe misconduct,” according to the memo. She also promised to provide the Department of Justice with resources to provide grants to fund greater scrutiny of officers who shoot suspects and pledged to reinstate an executive order restricting the sale of certain military equipment to police departments.

So, it’s not enough for her that unvetted illegal immigrants are coming into the country in droves. She looks at the taxpayers who pay her salary, and she thinks “I side with the killers and the rapists against those taxpayers – my job is to help the killers and the rapists, and not the taxpayers who pay my salary”. Do you think that independents would care about that? I think they would.
