Human Rights Campaign Child Molestation

LGBT activists charged with using adopted children to make child porn

On the weekend, I saw a lot of people tweeting a quotation from an article by The Gospel Coalition, in which the author urged Christians to accept same-sex marriage as the law of the land. Should Christians capitulate to the secular left about the definition of marriage? Or should they think harder about how to argue in favor of natural marriage, with evidence?

This is from the Instagram of The Gospel Coalition:

The Gospel Coalition

They want Christians to affirm same-sex marriage.

Here is a recent story from the New York Post:

A Georgia couple has been charged with using their two adopted children to record child pornography, police said.

Walton County Sheriff’s Office raided a home in Loganville July 27 on reports that a man there was downloading child porn.

After interviewing the suspect, who was not identified, police said they learned there was another suspect in the county who was “producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one child who lived in the home,” the sheriff’s office said Thursday.

Around 11:30 p.m. that same night, executed a search warrant in Oxford at the home of William Dale Zulock, 32, and Zachary Jacoby Zulock, 35.

[…]During their search, deputies found evidence the pair, who were the children’s adoptive fathers, “were engaging in sexually abusive acts and video documenting this abuse,” the sheriff’s office said.

Early the next morning, the Zulocks were both booked at the Walton County Jail.

Both men were charged with aggravated child molestation, sexual exploitation of a child and enticing a child for indecent purposes, WSBTV reported. William Zulock was additionally charged with child molestation.

Andy Ngo, a gay journalist who holds gay activists accountable for their behavior, had more about the story:

William and Zachary Zulock are gay rights activists who have a long social media history of support for liberal and leftist causes. In 2018, William Zulock announced they had adopted two boys. Between the two suspects’ social media accounts, there are posts about “pizza,” BLM, radical trans rights, and adoration of the Human Rights Campaign, a queer lobbying group with close ties to the Democrat Party. Photos show the children were taken to the headquarters of the HRC in Washington, D.C. in September 2019.

Do you remember seeing those little flags on the backs of people’s cars that signaled support for same-sex marriage? The blue ones with the yellow equal signs? That’s the Human Rights Campaign flag. The gay couple in the story were big fans of that flag. I posted the image of one of them above, as the “featured image” for this post. (Source: Twitter)

“No hate”. If you disagree with same-sex marriage, because it’s not the best environment for children, does that make you a hater?

The Gospel Coalition doesn’t want to make the case against same-sex marriage. They want Christians to accept it. They think “who cares about how same-sex marriage affects children?”

What I’d like to see from The Gospel Coalition, Christianity Today, the ERLC, and other secular leftist, anti-intellectual “Christian” groups is an argument against same-sex marriage that defends Jesus’ definition of marriage (one man, one woman). Is that too much to ask? I’ve made secular arguments against same-sex marriage based on evidence many times on this blog. It’s not that hard, but you do have to read books about it, rather than just virtue signal to the secular left in the hope (the VAIN hope) that they will like you.

You don’t have to be a Christian to disagree with same-sex marriage. You can argue in favor of natural marriage on completely non-religious grounds. That’s what I’d like to see from our “elite” Christian leaders. Statistically, children do better when they are raised by two biological parents.  That’s a non-sectarian argument against same-sex marriage.

  1. About a decade or more ago, Russia stopped allowing US citizens to adopt children, because of another “gay couple” who performed unspeakable sexual acts on an infant that they had adopted from Russia. It’s difficult to admit, but Vlad Putin is far more moral than most Americans, who overwhelmingly support sodomite “marriage.”

I’m old enough to remember when we locked up perverts to protect children from them. It sounds so harsh now, but consider what God did at Sodom & Gomorrah and what Jesus said in Luke 17:2 about messing with His precious “little ones.” You think that your “gay” friend is harmless? Wait until he meets Jesus if he does not repent!

The purpose of “quarantining” deviants is not merely to punish them, but to protect children and society from them so that we never get to the point where public school teachers are openly grooming children for pedophilia and “gay men” are marching naked down the streets of our cities. Apparently your average atheist in the 1960s was more moral in this regard than your average “Christian” is now.

Respectfully, I must disagree. As Dostoevsky noted, “Without God, all things are possible.”
In Romans 1, Paul warns us that the reason the gentiles fell into the sins they did, especially homosexuality, was because “they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,” so “God gave them over to a reprobate mind.”
Beware of hubris. Leaving God out of our decisions, especially profoundly moral ones, will always end badly. The temptation to show we can use human reason alone to prove what is true and just and right will always end badly. “It lies not in man to direct his own footsteps.”
I do not wish to see more “elite” Christian leaders using human reasoning to protect the sanctity of marriage, I wish to see more Christians elite or otherwise using God’s word to defend marriage.

    1. What would you say that the 3 best non-religious arguments are against same-sex marriage?

Just checking to see if you know what they are, so I know that you know what you’re disagreeing with.

    2. I think that WK is just pointing out the fact that even a liberal atheist like I was in the ’60s and ’70s could know to stay away from perverts and to be thankful that they were locked up when discovered by the authorities.

That doesn’t mean that we could understand the full demonic implications of homosexuality, nor could we know that we had to do anything about it, nor that all atheists were opposed to homosexuality, nor that any of us who were opposed were somehow saved by that opposition. Just that a better understanding of natural law was evident with many atheists in those days than is today evident with most “Christians.”

As an aside, the idea of gay “marriage” would have been laughed off as satire back then by 99% of the population. Today most “Christians” support it. That’s how far we’ve fallen.

  3. 3 good arguments, hmmm…
Genetic dead end, monekypox and AIDS?
    I keed, I keed.
Human reasoning without a divine mandate will not get us out of this mess. Paul describes the men as “burning in their desire” for one another. The reality of disease, shortened life spans, the absence of biological children, etc. have done nothing to change sodomite behaviors in our society.
Reason is valuable, and even necessary, but it must be based on the will of God, not our own debate prowess. I may well be able, strictly by human reasoning, to demonstrate to a homosexual that his behavior is harmful to himself, his family and society as a whole, but the experience of the past 50 years teaches that will accomplish nothing. In the end only the Gospel of Christ can change the hearts of men, and trying to use human logic, sans scripture, in its place is doomed to failure.

    1. I am mostly a presuppositionist too at this point, mostly because the level of depravity is so great that I’m like “Turn or Burn,” but good philosophy and good science were stepping stones to removing my last stumbling block to Jesus Christ.

I actually think that monkey pox and AIDS ARE great things to bring up with homosexuals and their supporters, because once again, they both prove Romans 1 beyond any shadow of a doubt, not that you or I need that proof, but because it can be a chink in the armor of the unbeliever. I’ve heard stories of homosexuals giving their lives to Christ on their deathbeds of AIDS who said to their new Christian Brothers “I hated you because deep down I knew that you were right.” Now, that is a great argument right there for presuppositionalism, but why can’t we plant seeds with everything that God created – the Gospel first, but good science, philosophy, etc too?

      1. Honestly, yes. I think it’s part of loving God with your intuitive sense, your intellect, and your imagination. Rightly ordered these things buttress each other. It is practically wrong to think intellect alone will do the job like we’re some kind of idealized Greek philosophers, but it does help.

    2. My blog post against same sex marriage was featured on a major atheist blog called The Secular Outpost.

      The arguments would be:

      – effects on children
      – ending religious liberty
      – promoting relationships that are unstable, e.g. – have higher rates of infidelity and domestic violence, which undermines the marital norms of permanence and exclusivity

  4. Dalrock has documented the TGC’s horrible track record on being scripturally sound for years and they should not be trusted by any christian. In fact, it would be a grand idea for massive amounts of believers to visit their Instgram/Facebook, etc and deride them over their decisions on marriage and homosexuality until they fall to pieces and are dissolved.

All in all, however, reading ones bible will make one immune to such drivel. Marriage is not created by man to be redefined but by God, and christians should hold it as such. We take offense at the desecration of the cross, but the cross was not given us by God, it was merely a vehicle by which the blood of Christ was shed! Why then do we stand for the desecration of those things which God did create and give us? Marriage? The rainbow? Inquiring minds want to know.

    1. Yes. Im not evenoicking on LGBTs because I don’t like no fault divorce with kids either, or single moms with live-in boyfriends. We should try to give kids a stable environment with their bio moms and dads.

    2. Right, Jessica!

The Left has been normalizing pedophilia for decades by giving super light sentences to pedophiles because they are “born that way,” and it is “normal” for adults to be sexually attracted to children.

That’s the message that Leftist academia is pushing now too. That’s why you don’t see them going after Catholic priests anymore. They’ve taken their lead into the classrooms now.

      1. I always thought that was weird, I remember learning as a teenager that pedophiles got lighter sentences than rapists by a large margin when everyone agrees that it’s worse. You even see it in movies from the 70s like a lion in winter and another movie with James Mason, the name escapes me, where it’s treated like a foible, like no big deal. This is who they’ve always been on some level.
