Why do people think that CNN are biased leftist clowns?

CNN news anchor Don Lemon says God doesn’t judge people

He’s an expert theologian and Bible scholar, and he has decided to educate us on what the Bible says and what it means.

Daily Caller reports:

CNN anchor Don Lemon claimed Monday that God was “not about hindering people or even judging people.”

Lemon, who is engaged to his partner Tim, joined ABC’s “The View” to talk about Pope Francis’ statement directing the Catholic Church not to bless same-sex unions.

[…]“I think that the Catholic Church and many other churches really need to re-examine themselves and their teachings. That’s not what God is about. God is not about hindering people or even judging people,” Lemon claimed.

[…]Lemon went on to say that he often viewed religion as a barrier preventing people from really getting to know and understand each other.

“I would say to the Pope and Vatican and all Christians or Catholics, or whomever, whatever religion you happen to belong to, go meet people. Try to understand people,” Lemon added. “Do what the Bible Jesus actually said, if you believe in Jesus, and that is love your fellow man and judge not lest you be not judged.”

This isn’t the first time I’ve blogged about CNN’s Don Lemon, or his amazing ability to interpret the Bible to Christians who don’t know what it says.

Christian Post reports:

CNN host Don Lemon has garnered criticism for claiming that Jesus Christ “was not perfect” while He was living on earth.

“Jesus Christ — if you believe in, if that’s who you believe in, Jesus Christ — admittedly was not perfect when he was here on this earth.”

I really would like Christians to be more careful about where they get their news from. This time, it’s obvious that Don Lemon doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Other times, it may not be. A lot of money goes into making people on CNN look attractive and sound authoritative. Don’t be fooled by appearances. These people are stupid and ignorant about the things they speak about.

If you’re wondering what to read, I read The Federalist, Daily Wire, Daily Signal and Daily Caller. I’d recommend that you stick with those web sites, and turn off the CNN Bible experts.

    1. CNN thinks that’s what we benighted barbarians need. He has so much success at life. Like all the Hollywood people, he is a role model for how we should conduct relationships and marriage. Its only natural that he should tell us how to follow Jesus too. He’s better than William Lane Craig and Wayne Grudem, don’t you know.

  1. As soon as I saw the blog title, I absolutely knew Don would quote Matthew 7:1. I’ve also seen Catholics quote that verse too for the same reason. Horrible, just horrible.

    1. He did a web search to find a vague Bible verse that agrees with him.

No one is apparently capable of reading the Bible and looking at who God is. They have to misquote verses in order to justify what they already want to do.

  2. I do believe Mr. Lemon needs to study the Christian Bible and toss out his mail order theological degree. Then, maybe, he would move away from being the least trusted talking head on the planet.

  3. WK, you gave a list of places to read. I like those, and include Instapundit and a place local to my State.
I meet with a group of conservative Christians, a couple all active leadership in our conservative church.
They often say I shouldn’t be reading those sites and that my reading list explains my “extreme” views.
What do they trust? NPR, Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, CNN, Yahoo, etc.
The one guy who is pro climate change says I should read the IPCC project. An unwise use of my time but he is well read and I think that gives him an out to listening to other views.
It’s really strange how exercised these guys get over the media I use. I never expected that from believers. It’s a new phenomenon too, only last 4 years.

    1. I have one local to my state, too. Can you email me and tell me your state one? I’ll tell you mine.

Evangelicals inform themselves with nonsense, then they cry like babies when the person they voted for enacts taxpayer funded infanticide, transgender sports, and the end of religious liberty. Idiots.

    2. Keep in mind that churches that are even very conservative on Biblical doctrine are abysmal on Biblical practice. Due to easy believism, they have accepted about half of the Gospel.

In your case, it looks like they have subsisted, at best, on milk and came to enjoy it so much that they never advanced to the solid stage.

  4. Wasn’t it the secular humanist, Ted Turner, who built CNN aka “The Tower of Babble”? Mr. Lemon is probably just confusing wisdom from the Bible with “wisdom” from Babel (or Sodom and Gomorrah).

  5. Well, if you leave out the Global Flood (where God only saved 8 people but lots of animals), Sodom & Gomorrah, the Canaanites, and Hell, which place Jesus talks about more than anyone else, then he’s “right.”

  6. They also define rebuking a person as judging.

You can find many verses that support rebuking others when they are in error.

Timothy has a few just by itself
