This is basically an introduction to Greg Koukl’s idea of what an ambassador should be. He focuses on 3 topics: knowledge, wisdom and character.

An amazing women’s Bible study

I got a very interesting report from a person who saw my announcement post and attended the event. He met a woman there who had taught FOUR CLASSES in a row on Lee Strobel’s book “The Case for Faith”. The Case for Faith! And she also uses the DVD. The attendance ranged from 20-50 women! I thought women didn’t like apologetics… but I guess there are some places where they do!

My readers in Ottawa, Canada may be interested in hearing Greg Koukl from Stand to Reason speak at the Metropolitan Bible Church on Sunday morning and Sunday night.

Schedule:

  • 6 PM – Greg speaking on “Truth is not Ice Cream, Faith is not Wishing”
  • 7 PM – Greg speaking on “The Columbo Tactic”

There will be a book table and refreshments after that.

The debates will be in Marion auditorium in Marion Hall at the University of Ottawa. More information here, but note that Abdul Murray has been replaced by Nabeel Qureshi of Answering Muslims. I don’t know who Abdul Murray is, but I would say that it is virtually guaranteed that Nabeel would be an upgrade.
