Facebook and Google removing content that harms Democrat party

Facebook, Google, Youtube, Twitter purging conservative speech

There were a few interesting stories about Big Technology companies censoring content critical of the Democrat party. The first one involves Facebook censoring two anti-Biden ads. The second one involves Google / Youtube censoring a video featuring a Stanford University medical doctor. The third one involves Twitter censoring a Chinese scientist. Let’s take a look at the stories.

Here’s the first story from Daily Wire:

The ad launched on Aug. 4 before getting slapped with a “mostly false” rating by PolitiFact and subsequently blocked by Facebook the next month. The ad directly quotes Biden declaring, “If you elect me, your taxes are going to be raised, not cut,” and warns that his plan will raise taxes “on all income groups.”

[…]PolitiFact specifically cites a “Biden campaign official” as supposed evidence of the Democrat’s intent (emphasis added):

The full exchange shows that Biden was saying his plan would raise taxes for people who, in his words, “benefited from” the GOP’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. A Biden campaign official said his point was that the wealthy — not all Americans — would not benefit from his plan.

The ad’s portrayal of the exchange leaves a different impression.

And another ad predicted that allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports would end women’s sports. Politifact admits that they can’t fact-check a prediction, but they censored the ad anyway:

America First is not the only conservative organization censored by the platform. In another recent case, Facebook censored an ad by the conservative American Principles Project that stated that the Democrat-backed Equality Act allowing transgender athletes will “destroy girls sports” because the ad was “missing context and could mislead people.” The censorship was imposed despite PolitiFact openly admitting in its review of the ad that the claim is “a prediction we can’t fact-check.”

Meanwhile, YouTube (which is owned by Google), censored a Hoover Institute discussion about COVID that featured an actually medical doctor from Stanford University.

The Federalist reports:

YouTube, which is owned by Google, removed a video of an interview with [Dr. Scott] Atlas conducted in June originally posted by the Hoover Institution where he serves as a senior fellow. In it, Atlas, a prominent neuroradiologist and professor at Stanford University Medical Center as well as a commentator on public health issues, spoke of his belief that the pandemic lockdowns might have done more harm than good. Since then, his opinions have become of greater interest due to his appointment in August as a presidential advisor and a member of the White House coronavirus task force.

That fact alone ought to make it vital that the public should be able to hear his opinions about the pandemic. YouTube, however, removed the interview from its video streaming service this past weekend for allegedly violating its terms of service.

I have seen my Google search engine traffic from Google drop 90% since Trump won the election in 2016. My current incoming search engine traffic from DuckDuckGo is half of my current Google traffic. And I’m not the only conservative site that’s being censored. Google is in the pocket of the Democrat party.

Meanwhile, Twitter is censoring scientists who make the Chinese Communist Party look bad.

The New York Post reports:

Twitter has suspended the account of a Chinese virologist who has claimed that COVID-19 was manufactured in a laboratory.

Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a former researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, went dark on the platform after she accused China of covering up evidence that the deadly virus came from a lab in Wuhan.

“They don’t want the people to know this truth. Also, that’s why I got suspended, I got suppression [and] I am the target that China Communist Part wants to [sic] disappear,” she told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday.

Carlson responded, “I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt so I’m going to assume you’re not an anti-Chinese racist so it’s not clear why Twitter would shut you down or why you’re being ignored by the rest of the US media.”

Twitter declined to comment to The Post on Wednesday.

If I were in charge, I would just break up all of these big technology companies into tiny little pieces. They’re too big, and they’re dangerous to our liberties.

Google purges conservative sites from its search results to help the Democrat party

Google's new motto
Google’s new motto

So, in 2016 Trump won the presidential election. At that time, I got about 1000 referrals per day from the Google search engine. Now I get less than 100 per day. Although my posts show on the first page of results on Duck Duck Go, Google has deleted my posts or buried them way down in the search results. But I’m not the only victim of their pro-Democrat-party bias.

Here’s the latest from Breitbart:

A few days after the 2016 election, at an internal meeting later leaked to Breitbart News, top Google executives, including Sundar Pichai, Sergey Brin, and Kent Walker, lamented President Trump’s victory, comparing Trump voters to “extremists” and discussing their desire to make Trump’s election and the populist movement a “blip” in history.

True to their word, four years later, Google is deliberately working to interfere with the reelection of Trump in 2020.

There are several ways in which Google is interfering in the 2020 election, but this article will focus primarily on one of them: political search bias.

[…]New data shows that Google has suppressed Breitbart’s search visibility by 99.7 percent since 2016.

On April 4, 2016, Breitbart ranked in the top ten search positions (i.e., on the first page of Google search results) for 355 key search terms; but now, as of July 20, 2020, Breitbart ranks in the top ten search positions for only one search term. And, on April 4, 2016, Breitbart ranked in the top 100 search positions for 16,820 key search terms; but now, as of July 20, 2020, Breitbart ranks in the top 100 search positions for only 55 search terms.

Moreover, organic Google search traffic to Breitbart (measured by unique visitors) is down 63 percent when comparing the first half of 2016 with the first half of 2020.

They’re down 99.7%, and I’m down 90%. I suspect it’s the same for most other conservative web sites. Rather than admit that they are suppressing conservative sites, Google’s CEO decided to lie to Congress about it.

The Federalist reports:

Google CEO Sundar Pichai brushed off questions Wednesday before the House Judiciary subcommittee on antitrust related to the tech giant’s apparent blacklisting of conservative groups last week when about a dozen major websites were temporarily de-platformed.

[…]The websites targeted in last week’s blacklisting, according to NewsBusters which itself was temporarily de-platformed last week, included the Washington Free Beacon, The Blaze, Townhall, The Daily Wire, PragerU, LifeNews, Project Veritas, Judicial Watch, The Resurgent, Breitbart, the Media Research Center, and CNSNews among others.

Chuck Ross, a journalist with the Daily Caller News Foundation, observed that his employer’s website was also included in the blackout when searches for stories related to Stefan Halper, an FBI informant who spied on the Trump campaign in Crossfire Hurricane was unmasked by his reporting came up blank.

NewsBusters reported that the websites impacted by the Google blackout were still organically available on Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo.

Steube’s questioning and the recent episodes of censorship come just one month after Google threatened to demonetize The Federalist following a report from NBC’s “Verification Unit” compiled in collusion with a foreign left-wing think tank. While NBC first reported Google de-platformed The Federalist for its coverage of the riots sweeping American cities, the company released a statement that it was merely threatening the conservative website to take action for content in its comment section, not its published commentary.

Frankly, I blame Trump and the Republicans. When we had the House, Senate and presidency, we should have used the government to wipe out Big Tech – break them all up into small cap companies. Investigate every single senior-level employee, right up to the CEO. Jail the ones who are found guilty, and seize their assets.

Conservatives have a bad habit of trying to get along with their enemies, instead of holding them accountable. They would do the same to us, so we should be serious when we have power. Abolish teacher unions. Put a massive tax on trial lawyers, Hollywood, entertainers, athletes, and the mainstream media. Defund NPR and PBS. End all unconstitutional government departments. Cut off all subsidies for higher education. And so on.

We had our chance, and we blew it.

In the meantime, please use DuckDuckGo.

Democrat feminists excited to vote for accused rapist in November

Did you know that the Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden has been credibly accused of sexual assault? If you get your news from the progressive mainstream media, then you’ve probably never heard about it. In fact, Big Technology companies are actively pulling down any evidence of the accuser or her accusation. So, I thought it might be a good idea to get the basic facts about it.

Daily Wire explains:

Tara Reade, the woman accusing former Vice President Joe Biden of  sexual assault, told Fox News Sunday that she’s “disappointed” in the media — and especially CNN anchor Anderson Cooper — for avoiding asking Biden about her allegations in at least two interviews, calling anchors’ behavior “shocking” and partisan.

Reade made her claims more than a month ago, on a podcast with progressive political commentator Katie Halper. She says Biden sexually assaulted her back in the mid-1990s, when she worked as an aide in his Senate office, and alleges that she was fired when she considered going to authorities to report Biden’s behavior.

Since Reade first went public with her story, “Biden has done nearly a dozen TV interviews with news anchors including NBC News’ Chuck Todd, ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, and twice with Cooper,” Fox News reports, and all of them “failed to ask Biden about [Reade’s] public claim.”

Now, the reason I take this accusation more seriously than the one against Brett Kavanaugh is that this accuser actually went to the police. Her accusation is on record with the police, which exposes her to punishments if she is making a false charge. But more than that, she has witnesses, and then there is the video of her mother calling into Larry King Live around the time of the assault.

Daily Wire notes:

Anchors may not be able to ignore Reade’s claims much longer, however. On Saturday, it emerged that Reade’s mother called into “Larry King Live” back in the late 1990s to ask the host and his panel how her daughter should handle a claim of “sexual harassment” against a high ranking Washington official.

Here is the video:

Fox News notes that Google has removed the video from Google Play:

[T]he Aug. 10 broadcast, which is listed as “Episode 154” is followed by the Aug. 12 broadcast, which is listed as “Episode 155,” suggesting that episode and the ones that follow could be incorrectly listed and off by a number.

Fox News has verified the Aug. 11 episode is not listed on the streaming service. It is unclear when it was removed from the catalog.

Neither CNN nor Google immediately responded to Fox News’ requests for comment. Fox News also reached out to the representation of Larry King and have not heard a response.

Daily Wire notes that the progressive news media is going all out for their boy:

Three women believed to be among the frontrunners for former Vice President Joe Biden’s running mate on the 2020 Democratic presidential ticket appeared on Sunday morning news programs, but not a single woman was asked about sexual assault allegations leveled against Biden by a former staffer.

In fact, not a single one of the Sunday news programs that aired on April 26th discussed the allegations despite revelations from CNN Saturday evening that indicated the woman’s mother called in to “Larry King Live” in the late 1990s to ask the host’s panelists how her daughter should go about reporting sexual harassment by a male Senator.

Nancy Pelosi, Amy Klobuchar, Gretchen Whittmer and Stacy Abrams were all on news media shows, but they were all NOT asked whether this woman Tara Reade should be believed.

Fox News is letting her speak though:

Reade’s story first resurfaced in an article in The Intercept on March 24. Halper then interviewed Reade, who said that in 1993, a more senior member of Biden’s staff asked her to bring the then-senator his gym bag near the U.S. Capitol building, which led to the encounter in question.

“He greeted me, he remembered my name, and then we were alone. It was the strangest thing,” Reade told Halper. “There was no like, exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”

[…]She continued: “His hands were on me and underneath my clothes, and he went down my skirt and then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers and he was kissing me at the same time and he was saying some things to me.”

Reade claimed Biden first asked if she wanted “to go somewhere else.”

“I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing,” Reade said. “He said: ‘Come on, man. I heard you liked me.’”

Reade said she tried to share her story last year, but nobody listened to her.

Fox News also posted a helpful comparison of how the news media handled the baseless accusations against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, compared to the evidence-backed, reported-to-police accusations of Tara Reade.

So what would Democrat feminists say to this credible accusation? Well, right now, we don’t know. We have to wait until November to see how Democrats vote. If they vote for Biden, then we will be able to understand how sincere they are about opposing rape, especially workplace rape of a female employee by a male in a higher position. They were fine with it when it was Bill Clinton being accused of rape, so I wonder if anything has changed?
