You might remember in my recent post on the Equality Act, I recommended Ryan T. Anderson as an expert on the impact of LG8T laws and policies on Christians and other people who have moral convictions. Well, Amazon decided that any disagreement with their left-wing amorality needs to be silenced and punished. They pulled Anderson’s book from their online store, with no reason given.

This past weekend, something ominous and cruel happened on Amazon.com—although it could have been foreseen given the recent ramped-up levels of censorship. With the removal of Ryan T. Anderson’s 2018 book “When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment,” Amazon openly signaled something to the American public and world.
The digital book-burning has begun; take cover if you’re not a raging leftist.
Anderson’s work approaches transgenderism and offers a scientific and practical perspective on the realities of human nature. On just about the three-year anniversary of its release, which makes this even more bewildering, the book was silently purged from the Amazon web store. Days before it came out in 2018, legacy institutions were out for blood.
“It was attacked twice on the New York Times op-ed page. The Washington Post ran a hit piece on it that they then had to entirely rewrite to fix all their errors. It was obvious the critics hadn’t read the book,” Anderson told The Federalist. “People who have actually read my book discovered that it was a thoughtful and accessible presentation of the state of the scientific, medical, philosophical, and legal debates. Yes, it advances an argument from a certain viewpoint. No, it didn’t get any facts wrong, and it didn’t engage in any name-calling.”
Anderson’s book was also removed briefly from the Apple Books app then re-added. It has been flagged by Twitter as “potentially sensitive content” as of Feb. 23.
His book on the policy impact of same-sex marriage “Truth Overruled” is my favorite book on the subject. The Harry-Sally book that Amazon banned had all sorts of endorsements from scholars:
Amazon has yet to comment on its removal of Anderson’s book, which has received acclaim by scholars at institutions like Princeton University, Harvard University, and Oxford University. It was hailed by John Finnis of Oxford as a “focused, informative, fair-minded, lucid and fact-based guide to just and reasonable policies.”
But the book didn’t pass muster with all the thousand-sexual-partner Grindr app users who make up the Big Tech elite. They decided it was bad. It doesn’t fit with San Francisco values, even if it was tightly argued and brimming with irrefutable evidence.
So, Amazon has been getting increasingly woke lately. Apple was always woke. They conspired, along with Google, to take down Parler. Was it because Parler doesn’t support the Democrat party platform? That was my impression. So I decided to curtail all my Amazon spending and found alternatives instead. I suggest that you do the same, as much as you’re able to. Even buying from left-wing small companies is safer than buying from Amazon. The small companies can’t hurt you.

I’m trying to follow the science here (just like the President says we should) but I’m having a hard time. Help me if you can.
In nature, there are two ways of reproducing: sexual and asexual. The dictionary tells us that sexual reproduction involves “the production of new living organisms by combining genetic information from two individuals of different types (sexes). In most higher organisms, one sex (male) produces a small motile gamete which travels to fuse with a larger stationary gamete produced by the other (female).”
Assuming that we are higher organisms, reproduction requires a biological male and a biological female. If a biological male attempts to mate with another biological male who identifies as a female they tend to leave fewer offspring (which everyone knows is anti-evolutionary given that evolutionary progress requires leaving more offspring). The person who identifies as a female, in this case, will be naturally selected against, although compassionate counseling is advised before they leave the gene pool. Second chances are always good.
The most straightforward scientific test to determine if a person is objectively male or female is to check their genitals. We should never judge others by the clothes they wear.
Trust the science and verify if necessary.

I still very much prefer actual books, though I have a few on-line books of no great value except to me. That is, there are certain types of books I believe are a must to have on an actual bookshelf, and there are other less important books that are fine on-line. But overall, I prefer an actual book by a wide margin.

I have gotten a few ebooks on Christian book lately.
Harvest book of apologetics and also the one on prophesy in the Bible had the ebooks on sale for about 2 dollars each so if you look there you can find great deals. I do love a physical book.
But a nice digital book with me all the time that I can read while on breaks at work are great to have.
And the more we choose to not support blatantly anti God companies the better when it is possible.
It is what I like about free market in the west is if I don’t like a company for any reason I can choose to give my business to another.

We’ve already begun divesting ourselves of some of these Big Tech offerings. My wife has totally ejected Amazon, even doing away with her highly valued Firestick. I still have an account with Amazon, but was never a big user. I prefer to have it in the back pocket for when it serves my purpose, but will make every effort to find other sources for what I need. At some point I may cut myself off from it completely as well. However, it’s tragically astounding how many companies and corporations lack spine…so many are on board with the “woke” culture. I really liked Dollar Shave Club for my blades, but when the CEO proudly announced his financial support for the Black Lives Matter movement, I bailed. I now use Harry’s, which I don’t find to be as good. Can’t use Gillette because of their pro-homosexual, anti-real men ads. But again, it’s hard to live in this world and not do business with some company that offends. In, but not of. That’s the key.
