Why do terrorist attacks happen in America? Well, the Democrat party believes in importing vast numbers of unskilled immigrants who don’t speak English from countries who hate us. Why? Because people who can’t earn a living will vote for the Democrats, since the Democrats give them other people’s money in exchange for their votes. And, according to these Democrat Robin Hoods, if the unskilled immigrants engage in a little sex-trafficking, gang raping or terrorist acting, what’s the harm?

The Daily Wire reports on the mayor’s statement following the terrorist attack in her city:

In a Facebook post designed to convey solidarity with the area’s heavily Somali Muslim immigrant population, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges apologizes for Islam, trumping a line heard at every Hillary Clinton event from multi-million dollar celebrity fundraisers in New York City to subdued rallies in rural Iowa.

“Love is bigger than hate,” she begins her letter, addressing a local audience traumatized by a recent terror attack at a shopping mall in nearby St, Cloud that left several victims injured after a Muslim man armed with a knife stabbed unsuspecting shoppers while shouting “Allahu Akbar” and asking his targets if they were Muslim.

She continues:

At this difficult moment, I also urge every Minneapolitan and every Minnesotan to support and stand firmly with our Muslim, East African, and Somali friends and neighbors. A horrible, violent attack like this should never be exploited to attack a whole community and a whole religion. Yet we have seen Islamophobia rear its ugly head in terrible moments like this far too many times — *and* at a moment when one person in particular is playing to fear and hatred of immigrants on a national scale, I fully understand the worry of the Somali community here that it will happen again.

Forget the terrorists or the poisonous Islamic ideology infecting susceptible Somali men, prompting dozens to leave Minnesota and join terror groups like al-Shabab in their home country of Somalia. Forget the Islamic clerics preaching anti-Western rhetoric, including gender apartheid, Sharia-supremacism, and jihadism. Forget the fact that everyday Americans are being systematically targeted for adopting un-Islamic lifestyles. The real concern is Islamophobia, according to Mayor  Hodges.

Minnesota prides itself on welcoming in unskilled immigrants from Somalia, a country dominated by radical Islam. And now they can take pride in the victims of this terrorist attack, too. They caused it.

The far left Minneapolis Star Tribune was also concerned about the Islamic terrorist attack, but not in the way you might thing. They weren’t concerned about the victims, or protecting the public.

The Daily Wire explains:

Only hours after the multiple stabbings of shoppers at a St. Cloud, Minnesota mall on Saturday, the leading newspaper in Minnesota by far, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, published an article that seemed to excuse the Muslim attacker who attempted multiple murders by insinuating he was responding to local anti-Muslim sentiment.

Pat Pheifer of the Star Tribune wrote an article titled, titled “Anti-Muslim Tension Isn’t New in St. Cloud.” Pheifer wrote, “A cloud of anti-Muslim sentiment and tension has hung over St. Cloud for the past seven years, with incidents ranging from bullying Somali and other East African immigrants at St. Cloud Technical High School, to women being screamed at in grocery stores, pig intestines wrapped around the door handles of a halal grocery store, and offensive billboards and license plates.”

Pheifer continued, “The most physically injurious incident came Saturday evening when a man stabbed nine people at the city’s Crossroads Center before the attacker was killed inside the mall by an off-duty police officer. No one but the attacker was killed.” Finally, Pheifer admits, “Authorities said the man reportedly asked at least one victim whether they were Muslim before assaulting them and referred to Allah during the attacks.”

The article never mentioned that the attacker, who shouted references to Allah before the attack, was Muslim.

As PJ Media notes, “Despite the fact that the attacker’s name was already circulating in the media, Dahir Adan’s name never appears.”

The lady (Pat Pheifer) who wrote the article was apparently more concerned about defending a failed policy of importing unskilled immigrants from countries dominated by radical Islam, rather than the victims of Islamic terrorism.

When I say that mainstream newspapers like the Minneapolis Star Tribune are far left, this is what I am talking about. They conceal information that would make their favorite politicians look bad. Everyone knows that Democrats are soft on crime, and soft on national security. When terrorist attacks happen, Democrats blame America, and then they release the terrorists to try again.

By the way, another detail of this story that you probably did not hear about from the leftist mainstream media. The man who shot the suspect, preventing further loss of life, is a concealed carry instructor:

USPSA Shooter,  3-Gunner, and NRA-certified firearms instructor Jason Falconer has been identified as the man who shot and killed a 22-year-old Somali immigrant who went on a stabbing rampage inside a St. Cloud, (MN) Mall on Saturday.

The apparent terrorist—who apparently asked victims if they were Muslims before stabbing them—was engaged by Falconer inside the mall.

Falconer is the president and owner of Tactical Advantage LLC, a shooting range and tactical training facility with a strong focus on arming concealed carriers.

Naturally, he was carrying that day and since he is an expert marksman, the threat was neutralized.

A senior judge has challenged Islamist extremists who live on benefits while claiming to “despise” Western democracy, as he sentenced hate preacher Anjem Choudary to five-and-half years in prison.

Choudary has lived on benefits in the UK for the past 20 years, during which time it is understood he has claimed up to £500,000 from the state.

While living off the state – dubbing his benefits ‘Jihadiseekers’ Allowance’ – Choudary became one of the country’s most notorious radical preachers – professing hatred against the West.

But he managed to avoid a criminal conviction until he was charged last year with drumming up support for a terrorist organisation by pledging allegiance to Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (Isil).

On Tuesday he was sentenced alongside fellow radical Islamist Mohammed Mizanur Rahman after both being convicted of inviting support for the terrorist group.

[…]The judge said Choudary had invited support for Isil while it was “engaged in appalling acts of terrorism”.

He said: “At no point did either of you say anything to condemn the violent means by which [Isil] claimed to have established a caliphate.”

The UK had Labour Party rule for well over a decade, and they opened up their immigration policy to import many, many unskilled immigrants from countries with a significant presence of radical Islam. The idea of the secular leftists was that they would be able to buy the votes of unskilled workers with welfare money paid by the people who actually had jobs. And it worked. Well, there are some problems: they have gangs of Muslims raping and sex-trafficking children, but the strategy of importing anti-conservative voters worked.

I think that a lot of Western countries with welfare states and open-borders immigration policies often have problems like the UK does. And in especially leftist countries that have weakened marriage by redefining it, you get even more welfare fraud.

In Canada, polygamous Muslims can already collect multiple welfare checks for their multiple wives.

Hundreds of [Greater Toronto Area] Muslim men in polygamous marriages — some with a harem of wives — are receiving welfare and social benefits for each of their spouses, thanks to the city and province, Muslim leaders say.

Mumtaz Ali, president of the Canadian Society of Muslims, said wives in polygamous marriages are recognized as spouses under the Ontario Family Law Act, providing they were legally married under Muslim laws abroad.

“Polygamy is a regular part of life for many Muslims,” Ali said yesterday. “Ontario recognizes religious marriages for Muslims and others.”

He estimates “several hundred” GTA husbands in polygamous marriages are receiving benefits. Under Islamic law, a Muslim man is permitted to have up to four spouses.

However, city and provincial officials said legally a welfare applicant can claim only one spouse. Other adults living in the same household can apply for welfare independently.

The average recipient with a child can receive about $1,500 monthly, city officials said.

Note that expanding the welfare state and increasing unskilled immigration from countries with anti-Western populations is a central plank in leftist political parties such as our own Democrat Party. The Democrat Party itself is very much in favor of expanding welfare (Obama repealed the 1996 welfare reform policy) and are also in favor of weakening border security.

More details emerged today in the Wall Street Journal about the payments that Obama sent to Iran: (H/T Ari)

The Obama administration followed up a planeload of $400 million in cash sent to Iran in January with two more such shipments in the next 19 days, totaling another $1.3 billion, according to congressional officials briefed by the U.S. State, Treasury and Justice departments.

The cash payments—made in Swiss francs, euros and other currencies—settled a decades-old dispute over a failed arms deal dating back to 1979. U.S. officials have acknowledged the payment of the first $400 million coincided with Iran’s release of American prisoners and was used as leverage to ensure they were flown out of Tehran’s Mehrabad on the morning of Jan. 17.

[…]The Obama administration briefed lawmakers on Tuesday, telling them that two further portions of the $1.3 billion were transferred though Europe on Jan. 22 and Feb. 5. The payment “flowed in the same manner” as the original $400 million that an Iranian cargo plane picked up in Geneva, Switzerland, according to a congressional aide who took part in the briefing.

The $400 million was converted into non-U.S. currencies by the Swiss and Dutch central banks, according to U.S. and European officials.

The Treasury Department confirmed late Tuesday that the subsequent payments were also made in cash.

Do you ever wonder where your taxpayer money is going? Obama is using it to prop up dangerous Islamic regimes who sponsor terrorism and kill our troops on the battlefield in Iraq. That’s what every Democrat voter voted for, as well. They are responsible, whether they intended these consequences or not.

So, Attorney General Loretta Lynch says that all references to Islamic motivations for the Orlando attack have to be removed from the 911 transcript, lest the public understand that this attack was actually another instance of radical Islamic terrorism.

Real Clear Politics reports:

In an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd, Attorney General Loretta Lynch says that on Monday, the FBI will release edited transcripts of the 911 calls made by the Orlando nightclub shooter to the police during his rampage.

“What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda,” Lynch said. “We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State].”

The Obama administration does not want any connection made by the public between this terrorist attack and radical Islam – even though the terrorist himself made them. It all has to be covered up, because the first duty of the Democrat Party is not to protect you from crime or terrorism. Their job is to make radical Islamic terrorists look as peaceful as the Girl Scouts. That’s what you’re paying them taxpayer dollars to do, isn’t it?

The Obama administration’s plan to protect us

So, there is a plan to protect us from terrorist attacks, and it was announced by Obama’s attorney general, Loretta Lynch. Are you ready for the plan? This is the great plan that moral relativists on the secular left are offering to protect us. Are you ready?

Speaking to the audience at the Muslim Advocates’ 10th anniversary dinner Thursday, Lynch said her “greatest fear” is the “incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric” in America and vowed to prosecute any guilty of what she deemed violence-inspiring speech.

“The fear that you have just mentioned is in fact my greatest fear as a prosecutor, as someone who is sworn to the protection of all of the American people, which is that the rhetoric will be accompanied by acts of violence,” she said.

[…]After touting the numbers of “investigations into acts of anti-Muslim hatred” and “bigoted actions” against Muslims launched by her DOJ, Lynch suggested the Constitution does not protect “actions predicated on violent talk” and pledged to prosecute those responsible for such actions.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch declined to charge Lois Lerner for using the IRS as a weapon to persecute conservative groups in an election year.

What did the IRS do?

Wall Street Journal explains:

Three years on, the Internal Revenue Service has finally handed over its list of the organizations the agency’s tax-exempt division targeted for their political views. All it took to shake the disclosure from the agency were dozens of lawsuits and a federal appeals-court order.

In a court filing last month, the IRS produced a list of 426 groups that were singled out for special scrutiny and in some cases had approval of their application for tax-exempt status delayed. The filing was in response to a lawsuit by NorCal Tea Party Patriots, which has struggled for three years to get the agency to acknowledge the names of those it mistreated, so that the targets have the option of joining the litigation. The targets run the gamut from big outfits such as the Tea Party Patriots to local groups that used the “tea party” moniker.

The list doesn’t include 40 groups that have already opted out of the suit, so the actual number targeted is 466. The lawsuit’s goal is to find out how the targeting occurred and to seek damages for “viewpoint discrimination,” among other legal violations.

So, no prosecution for the IRS fascists, but you’ll likely be prosecuted by the government if you report suspicious behavior by radicalized Muslims.
