Here are the promises that Obama made when he was running for president:
- Roll back the Bush tax cuts
- Repeal the PATRIOT Act
- Pass cap-and-trade legislation
- Pass an amnesty bill for illegal immigrants
- Close the Guantanamo Bay prison
- Provide civilian trials for terrorists
- Sign the pro-abortion “Freedom of Choice Act”
- End warrantless wire-tapping
- Limit the influence of lobbyists in Washington
- Cut income tax rates for seniors
So how did he do so far? He had the House, the Senate and the Presidency.
