Project Veritas has caught a highly-ranked CNN employee admitting pro-Democrat bias. This is amazing. The CNN employee was on Tinder. So, Project Veritas did the old “honeypot” trap = extracting information by using an attractive spy as bait. AND IT WORKED. They went on 5 dates, and Project Veritas got all the inside information about CNN’s bias.

A CNN staffer admitted in a secretly recorded video that his network produced “propaganda” to oust former President Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election — and bragged about their success.

Charlie Chester, a technical Director at the cable network, was filmed by Project Veritas during a series of fake Tinder dates as he explained how they “got Trump out” of office.

“Look what we did, we [CNN] got Trump out. I am 100​ percent going to say it, and I 100​ percent believe that if it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t know that Trump would have got voted out,” Chester said, adding that he came to work at CNN because he ​​”wanted to be a part of that.”

“Our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, that’s what it was.”

Chester explained how they overdramatized Trump health issues by bringing in medical experts.

“[Trump’s] hand was shaking or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to all tell a story that was all speculation – that he was neurologically damaged, and he was losing it. He’s unfit to – you know – whatever. We were creating a story there that we didn’t know anything about. I think that’s propaganda,” he said.

Wow, he admitted it. CNN employee admits that CNN is propaganda. We’d better be careful with this, because this is how the secular left takes power – by lying their way into power.

The CNN staffer who was secretly recorded admitting the network used “propaganda” to help get Joe Biden elected president also said they played up the COVID-19 death toll for ratings — and that the order came down directly from top brass.

Charlie Chester, a technical Director at the cable network, was filmed by Project Veritas during a series of fake Tinder dates as he explained how “Fear really drives numbers.”

“COVID? Gangbusters with ratings,” Chester told the unidentified PV staffer.

“Which is why we constantly have the death toll on the side,” he continued, making reference to the coronavirus death tracker that would appear on the screen. “It would make our point better if [the COVID death toll] was higher.”

[…]Chester claimed there was a “red phone” that network president Jeff Zucker would use to call the control room to order producers to play up the Covid death count on screen.

“Any reporter on CNN, what they’re actually doing is they’re telling the person what to say. It’s always, like, leading them in a direction before they even open their mouths,” he said.

“And the only people we let on air, for the most part, are people that have a proven track record of taking the bait.”

It’s so amazing that Project Veritas is able to get this information out into the public. I’ve blogged about academic studies that confirmed the pro-Democrat bias of the mainstream news media before. You can find out how they think by analyzing their sources, their words, and their political contributions. But this is something else. Now we have CNN admitting to their Democrat bias in their own words. What’s amazing is how many American voters still watch this garbage and think they are getting real journalism. CNN is fake news, and the people who watch it are lazy and uninformed.

Policing in the United States is “intentionally racist” and “can’t be reformed,” U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib tweeted Monday night, a day after a White Minnesota police officer reportedly mistook her pistol for her Taser and fatally shot a Black man.

[…]”It wasn’t an accident,” she wrote. “Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist. Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder. No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.”

As of Tuesday afternoon, the tweet had been liked more than 20,000 times, retweeted more than 4,000 times — and had received thousands of replies supporting Tlaib’s call for abolishing police and thousands of others panning it.

It seems like abolishing the police and abolishing the armed forces and releasing all violent prisoners has significant support within the Democrat party.

A solid body of evidence finds no structural bias in the criminal-justice system with regard to arrests, prosecution or sentencing, Mac Donald writes; rather, crime and suspect behavior, not race, determine most police actions. [Heather] Mac Donald writes:

In 2019 police officers fatally shot 1,004 people, most of whom were armed or otherwise dangerous. African-Americans were about a quarter of those killed by cops last year (235), a ratio that has remained stable since 2015. That share of black victims is less than what the black crime rate would predict, since police shootings are a function of how often officers encounter armed and violent suspects. In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population.

The police fatally shot nine unarmed blacks and 19 unarmed whites in 2019, according to a Washington Post database, down from 38 and 32, respectively, in 2015. The Post defines “unarmed” broadly to include such cases as a suspect in Newark, N.J., who had a loaded handgun in his car during a police chase. In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims. Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

Mac Donald further highlights violence that was committed against blacks over the weekend in Chicago and notes that the reason that blacks die from homicide at a rate 8X higher than whites and Latinos combined is not because of the police, but because of crime.

Mac Donald also highlights studies by both the Justice Department under President Obama and the finding of an African-American Harvard economist:

A 2015 Justice Department analysis of the Philadelphia Police Department found that white police officers were less likely than black or Hispanic officers to shoot unarmed black suspects. Research by Harvard economist Roland G. Fryer Jr. also found no evidence of racial discrimination in shootings. Any evidence to the contrary fails to take into account crime rates and civilian behavior before and during interactions with police.

Researchers in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found similar results. “We find no evidence of anti-Black or anti-Hispanic disparities across shootings, and White officers are not more likely to shoot minority civilians than non-White officers,” the report found. “Instead, race-specific crime strongly predicts civilian race. This suggests that increasing diversity among officers by itself is unlikely to reduce racial disparity in police shootings.”

Democrat legislator Rashida Tlaib has armed security, fences and other protective measures. Her policies can only hurt you. You’re paying for her salary, by the way. But she thinks she’s there to protect criminals and terrorists. Personally, I’m already living in semi-rural suburbs. I have a plan to move out even further when I retire in 4 years. I hope you have a plan for dealing with the abolition of the police and military, too.

Now, a lot of atheists are desperate to affirm that they have a rationally-grounded system of morality. They want to claim rational grounding for moral values, moral duties, inalienable human rights, etc. But you can find out a lot about atheist morality by looking at countries that have abandoned Christianity. Countries where atheists are in the majority, ruling over the moral minority.

China is attempting to brainwash Christians by holding them in mobile “transformation facilities,” according to a new report.

Radio Free Asia relayed stories last week from a man given the pseudonym Li Yuese, who said he was beaten in a windowless room for nearly 10 months.

Li said he was detained after authorities raided his house church in 2018. “There were no windows, no ventilation and no time allowed outside,” said Li. “I was given just two meals a day, which were brought to the room by a designated person.”

He said authorities “threaten, insult and intimidate you. These were United Front officials, men, women, sometimes unidentified, usually in plain clothes. The police turn a blind eye to this.”

“You have to accept the statement they prepare for you.”

Li added that if “you refuse, you will be seen as having a bad attitude and they will keep you in detention and keep on beating you.”

His fellow inmates, he said, were released on bail and had taken part in church-related activities.

The suppression affected both Protestants and Catholics, with priests disappearing for “five, six, even 10 years at a stretch,” he said.

According to the The Black Book of Communism, published by Harvard University Press, over 100 million innocent people were killed in atheistic, communist regimes in the last century. In the past, consistent atheists like Stalin who had power enough to ignore objective morality caused millions of innocent deaths. And you can even see atheism killing lots and lots of people in countries like North Korea today – where the official state religion is atheism. Why is that? It’s because the worldview of atheism teaches that the universe, and human beings, are here by accident. We are all just molecules in motion, and there is no inherent dignity or purpose to any of our lives that would obligate others to treat us a certain way.

On the Christian view, every single person has dignity because they are made in the image of God, and made to know him. Christians can never treat another person (of any religion or no religion) in any way that would discourage them from knowing God and experiencing his love for us. We could never hurt anyone in a way that causes them to turn against God. We are careful with people, because we want to act towards them in a way that helps them to accomplish this purpose.

Contrast that with atheists. Almost all atheists are pro-abortion, and even those who aren’t tend to vote for political candidates who favor unrestricted abortion through all 9 months of pregnancy, and even after birth. Barack Obama voted against restrictions on infanticide twice as a state senator. And this wasn’t a problem for the atheists who who supported him. In an accidental universe, there is no rational basis for human rights. There’s no way we ought to be. And no free will to allow for making moral decisions. We’re just machines made out of meat. So, why would a powerful machine care about honoring the needs of a weaker unborn machine? Or consider atheists who seek to weaken and overturn natural marriage. Why would powerful adults have to restrain themselves to provide children with a biological mother and father? If atheism is true, anything goes. They act nicely when things are going their way, but when their right to happiness is threatened by your conscience rights or your religious liberty, then get ready to be destroyed.

Of course there are lots of atheists in the Judeo-Christian West who live more peacefully, because they are living in a background of objective morality and human rights provided by Western religions. But in countries like North Korea, with a state religion that cannot ground free will or objective morality or human rights or judgment after death, there are fewer restraints. You really have to judge atheists not by how they act when they are in the minority of a nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles. You have to judge atheists by how they act when they take control, and are unopposed.
