One of the challenges of the modern world is this ideology of naturalism (aka materialism). If kids accept this ideology – which is just a philosophical assumption, and not a conclusion of scientific inquiry – they will lose their rational basis for morality, their grounding for free will and personal responsibility, their grounding for ultimate meaning and purpose, and more.
