A Christian university professor has been suspended from Facebook for voicing disagreement with President Joe Biden’s executive order allowing trans-identifying individuals to serve in the U.S. military.
Robert Gagnon, who teaches New Testament theology at Houston Baptist University and is a renowned scholar on the subject of sexuality, was locked out of his Facebook account for 24 hours on Tuesday after he posted a comment in defense of a friend who posted a satirical commentary about Biden’s executive order.
Facebook suspended Gagnon’s account for what it deemed as “incitement” to violence.
In his post, Gagnon said the executive order will endanger women, and noted that those who promote transgenderism are allowing males to invade women’s athletics and shelters. He also likened transgender ideology to a “religious cult” and said it “is indeed a pseudo-science,” in that it forces people to reject basic biology. That Facebook suspended his friend for similar comments proves the cult-like dimension, he said.
Facebook subsequently sent Gagnon a notice, informing him that his words violated their “Community Standards on violence and incitement.”
“There was absolutely no incitement to violence on our part. We abhor violence done to any person,” Gagnon told PJ Media on Tuesday. “This is just a thinly veiled and pathetic excuse for censorship of any critical views toward trans-tyranny over our consciences, religion, and reason.”
“Only one point of view is being allowed,” he continued. “Trump was not the great danger to the Republic. Left-wing canceling is.”

Wow this is crazy. That’s why I don’t get on FB or any social media for that matter. There’s no point with all the censorship. And it’s not even just his opinion. Biological differences are facts!

It’s not crazy, it’s predictable. Every totalitarian movement of the 20th century started the same way. From Russia to Italy, Spain to Cambodia, China to Vietnam, Cuba to Venzuela, it’s always the same. The Bolsheviks and the Nazis used their shock troops to commit violence against the populace and then used the reaction to that violence as a pretext to use military or government force to cement their coup.

I didn’t mean crazy in a literal sense of disbelief. I get what you’re saying, and yes they’re trying to bring in this communism. Lately, I’ve been reading up on how Cuba became commie. Next I’ll look into soviet union history as well since public schools didn’t go into depth with this topic, quite an important topic.

Call them nazis, which they hate to be exposed as. An interesting thing is, Franco was a Nazi, and the Castros were schooled in it. American nazis in 1941 on the declaration of war jumped into the American Communist Party with no qualms. Hitler sent perhaps a half-million of SS and Gestapo to refuge nations. Stalin received the lion’s share, and sent hundreds of them to Mao to take China. the Us received quite a few, as well.

Isn’t there supposed to be a case in front of some court regarding such matters? I think I read something very briefly about it, and the gist of it is places like FB, Twits and others cannot on one hand basically advertise their medium as a town square and then treat it as an editorial page on the other. I’m not in a position to look it up right now. Anyone know anything about it?
