In order to predict the future, it’s a good idea to look at the past. In this post, I want to try to review the some actions of Democrats, to see if they are for or against fascism.

First, consider the case of the IRS persecuting conservative groups during Obama’s re-election campaign. The Obama administration didn’t want conservatives influencing the election, so they just used government as a weapon against them:

The True the Vote v. IRS lawsuit has finally come to a close with a stunning ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton ruling in favor of True the Vote; penalizing the IRS with maximum attorneys fees due to their unconstitutional discrimination against the group and their unethical behavior in the case.

This decision marks the end of a nearly decade long battle that first began in 2010, when federal government agencies including the IRS, DOJ, FBI, ATF, OSHA weaponized against True the Vote and its founder, Catherine Engelbrecht. Under Obama Administration leadership, the agencies leveled a barrage of attacks, including twenty-three audits, investigations, and inquiries, against the group in an attempt to stop their work in election integrity.

The conservatives won their case, but only after the Obama administration went after many, many conservative organizations using government as a weapon against those they disagreed with.

What about the case of Democrats in Wisconsin using pre-dawn raids by armed policemen against conservatives who had committed no crimes and done nothing wrong?

Cindy Archer, one of the lead architects of Wisconsin’s Act 10 — also called the “Wisconsin Budget Repair Bill,” it limited public-employee benefits and altered collective-bargaining rules for public-employee unions — was jolted awake by yelling, loud pounding at the door, and her dogs’ frantic barking. The entire house — the windows and walls — was shaking.

It was indeed a home invasion, but the people who were pouring in were Wisconsin law-enforcement officers. Armed, uniformed police swarmed into the house. Plainclothes investigators cornered her and her newly awakened family. Soon, state officials were seizing the family’s personal property, including each person’s computer and smartphone, filled with the most intimate family information.

[…]As if the home invasion, the appropriation of private property, and the verbal abuse weren’t enough, next came ominous warnings.

Don’t call your lawyer.

Don’t tell anyone about this raid. Not even your mother, your father, or your closest friends.

The entire neighborhood could see the police around their house, but they had to remain silent.

Using the police to silence people who disagree with Democrat policies? That’s fascism.

What about when gay activists inside the IRS leaked all the donations made to a pro-marriage group to a leading gay rights organization, who made them public?

Two years after activists for same-sex marriage obtained the confidential tax return and donor list of a national group opposed to redefining marriage, the Internal Revenue Service has admitted wrongdoing and agreed to settle the resulting lawsuit.

The Daily Signal has learned that, under a consent judgment today, the IRS agreed to pay $50,000 in damages to the National Organization for Marriage as a result of the unlawful release of the confidential information to a gay rights group, the Human Rights Campaign, that is NOM’s chief political rival.

Again, the case is won later, but the damage has already been done: Democrats used government as a weapon to silence those they disagree with. This is fascism. And Democrat voters are all fine with fascism – they keep voting for it.

How about when California Attorney General Kamala Harris used the government to persecute whistleblowers who had exposed trafficking in baby parts?

“America’s biggest abortion business was desperate and furious, so they turned to their biggest patron, California Attorney General Kamala Harris, for help,” Daleiden said in the new video. “At Planned Parenthood’s special request, Kamala Harris targeted me to punish and silence my message about the abortion industry and fetal trafficking.”

According to The Federalist, Daleiden revealed documents that show close communications between Harris and Planned Parenthood officials two weeks before the raid on Daleiden’s home. In March 2016, Harris’s office seized computers, video footage and video equipment from his apartment. Later, the attorney general’s office filed felony charges against him.

As The Federalist previously reported, two weeks prior to that raid, Harris personally met with six Planned Parenthood executives in March 2016, at the attorney general’s Los Angeles office.

An email outlining action items from the meeting shows that they discussed both Planned Parenthood’s political agenda in the state of California and her investigation into Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress. Two of the six executives in that meeting were used as witnesses in Harris’s criminal investigation.

The video also showed a California Department of Justice document that stated, “Planned Parenthood would like the computers used to produce the videos seized.”

This isn’t even to mention how gay rights activists were able to use the government to go after Christian business owners who refused to participate in same-sex weddings. Christian business owners were dragged into court because they believed what Jesus taught about marriage – that marriage is between a man and a woman.

Pro-life Christian businesses and charities were also forced to cover the medical costs for contraceptives that could cause abortions.

So why are secular leftists so interested in fascism? Well, they think we live in an accidental universe. There’s no way that humans ought to be, because there is no Designer and no design. There’s no free will, no human rights, no objective moral standard, no accountability when you die. So of course you’re going to see these sorts of moral crimes from secular leftists. They have no rational grounding for moral values or moral duties.
